2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Flex Fuel 4.0 2WD I'm selling this for my brother in law. Please ask any questions and I will get back to you with the answer. The good..... The explorer runs and shifts great. Transmission was replaced recently with a newer model. The climate control works great, AC is ice cold. Exterior looks great. Minor scratches and dents. Tires are at 50% Under carriage straight and clean. Brakes and suspension are great. Battery and Alternator replaced recently Smoke free vehicle. The Bad..... Driver side seat has wear and tear (check the photos). Small hole in headliner (check the photos). Hood shocks will not hold the hood up. Need a prop or replacement. Driver side door actuator needs to be replaced. Stereo works great and sounds awesome but the cd changer comes on with error when trying to play a disc. This vehicle is being sold as is. The engine was rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago, and includes all new bearings, rings, gears, timing chains, idlers, guides oil pump, water pump and gaskets. Tires are goodyear with approximately 60% tread left. Within the last 4000 miles the struts were all replaced with lifetime monroe parts as well as the rotors and pads on all 4 corners. the muffler is also new and from walker. Listed for sale, is this 2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. The vehicle is clean inside and out. The interior shows minimal wear and tear, and the exterior has a few minor scuffs/scratches. It's also missing one of the wheels. Still, the vehicle looks really good. Mechanically, the vehicle will need work. It cranks, but doesn't turn over, which is more likely the timing belt/chain. The vehicle also has NO TITLE, but would be ideal for parts. I actually was going to remove the transmission and install it another vehicle, but just never had the time. It has a good, 4x4 transmission, which is very expensive. Therefore; it would make a great parts vehicle. However; there are several states that would allow you to register a vehicle without a title if the vehicle is over 10 years old. So if you're from one of those states; this would be a great vehicle for you. I just have to clear up space soon, which is the only reason I am selling it.
