2005 Ford Expedition XLT 163,000 miles- $5,250 (Lancaster Ohio) Vehicle has one known defect, the air system is blowing only through the defrost and floor vents, will not change over to dash vents or only defrost or only floor… this did not bother us but to get it fixed it will cost around $750 (parts about $150 labor about $600). Outside of that this is a good SUV in very good condition considering its age! We bought this in 2012 and have pampered it since; we used it only as a vacation vehicle 2 times a year to pull our travel trailer, between vacations it was stored in inside storage. We put about 25,000 miles on it, about 3,500-4,000 miles pulling a 7,000 lb trailer. This Expedition is equipped with the heavy-duty trailer tow package (8,600 lbs) prepped and readied for towing at the factory. The package includes a heavy-duty V-5 rated Class IV trailer hitch with weight distribution capability, heavy-duty radiator, heavy-duty auxiliary transmission fluid cooler, hitch mounted 4 and 7-pin trailer electrics connector and factory prewiring for an electronic trailer brake controller module. The vehicle is equipped with a Pod brake controller for towing and cargo bars. The motor is a V8 gas 5.4 L 300 HP TORQUE 365 @ 3750 rpm The past 25,000 miles all services have been done... 2 times a year (before each trip) I gave the vehicle to my mechanic and said check everything and fix everything I have all documentation of such. 2012 Aug. 137,200 miles… - Looked over SUV and checked bolts and suspension for play. - Remove trans pan, change fluid & filter, reinstall pan, fill fluid - Oil Change Lube, Oil & Filter. - Change rear differential oil - Change air filter - Replaced 7 way towing plug 2012 Sept. 138,500 miles… Replaced Alternator 2013 Jan. 140,000 miles… - Lube, Oil & Filter Motor craft synthetic blend 5w20 oil and motor craft filter - Change Transmission fluid & Transmission Filter kit (Forgot that this had been done) - R & R spark plugs - New battery 2013 March - Removed both window regulators and cleaned 2013 Apr. 142,900 miles… - R & R parking brake shoe assembly - Oil & filter change 2016 Aug. - R & R driver’s door window motor 2013 Sept. 144,600 miles… - Oil & Filter change 2013 Oct. 145,000 - Keyless Entry Repair 2014 Feb. 147,000 - Oil & Filter Change - Air Conditioning Inspection 2014 Feb. 147,300 (# 5 Sparkplug came lose & pulley noise) - R & R Coil & Plug - R & R Pulley - Decarbon Cyl.
