2005 Ford Expedition XLT 163,000 miles- $5,250 (Lancaster Ohio) Vehicle has one known defect, the air system is blowing only through the defrost and floor vents, will not change over to dash vents or only defrost or only floor… this did not bother us but to get it fixed it will cost around $750 (parts about $150 labor about $600). Outside of that this is a good SUV in very good condition considering its age! We bought this in 2012 and have pampered it since; we used it only as a vacation vehicle 2 times a year to pull our travel trailer, between vacations it was stored in inside storage. We put about 25,000 miles on it, about 3,500-4,000 miles pulling a 7,000 lb trailer. This Expedition is equipped with the heavy-duty trailer tow package (8,600 lbs) prepped and readied for towing at the factory. The package includes a heavy-duty V-5 rated Class IV trailer hitch with weight distribution capability, heavy-duty radiator, heavy-duty auxiliary transmission fluid cooler, hitch mounted 4 and 7-pin trailer electrics connector and factory prewiring for an electronic trailer brake controller module. The vehicle is equipped with a Pod brake controller for towing and cargo bars. Options include bedliner, tow package, 5 speed manual transmission, and AC. Carfax shows clean history and just one prior owner. Can email it upon request. Mechanically, absolutely everything works, however if you desire a third party inspection, I'm only 10 minutes to a Ford dealership where a pre-purchase inspection may be obtained at buyer's expense. This Ranger was legally imported to the US from Canada and can send a 7501 import form upon request. The odometer currently registers in KM's on the outside and MPH is on the inside. Tires are in nearly new condition. This truck does have one scuff mark on the front right side bumper that shows up in some of the pics below. The car is available for inspection in Columbus, Ohio. Being a former Canadian vehicle, buyer will receive a Clear Ontario title, Form 7501 import doc showing duty has been paid, EPA standard form 3520, and the DOT HS-7. Winning bidder will receive scanned copies of these BEFORE any money exchanges hands. These docs should be sufficient to title the vehicle in all 50 states, but double check with your own state and if additional docs are needed, contact me before bidding. Being retired military, I have the time on my hands to deliver within a week of the end of the auction. Pwr windows, doors, mirror, locks. 193,xxx Miles and still being driven. With that being said, I will also have vehicle cleaned for new owner as well. Truck came from Arizona 2 years ago. Prior to that, has never seen snow or salt. Truck has the normal wear and tear as it is 14 years old. All fluids have been changed with synthetic. New tires, most of the front end is new. New transfer case, new glow plugs, new power steering gear box, new yolks on drive shaft. Drive shaft was rebalanced, new rear pinion seal. Just about everything that would need to be replaced at this time HAS been done. New radiator, thermostat, and fluid. It is ready for another 200,000 miles. There is a plow for this truck and is not included in price. If you want plow, we can discuss it. Truck was used last year only for a few residential properties. ALL of this was done over the last year, and was done simply to make the truck run longer and better. I do all the above to every 7.3 I have ever owned. Has NOT been ran hard. The engine in this truck was a prototype for the 6.0. It has a glowplug relay on the top. Its basically like a cold weather package. I hardly ever plugged it in over the winter and fired right up. Could be cause of the use of T6 full synthetic oil too. Highly recommend to continue use. Oil is changed every 5000, and fuel filter every 10. There is a chip in the tailgate about 1.5x1. I used a paint pen to fill in. Driver window tint needs replaced. And driver window rubber needs replaced. Window started to get very slow up and down so I replaced the motor and actuator to find out its the rubber molding. Clear coat above window on both front doors has come off from the Arizona heat. Very Minor issues that can be fixed or lived with. There is not a spot of rust on this truck. No expense has been held from this truck. When I think something is bad, it gets fixed immediately. It is turn key ready. Would trust it to make cross county and back with out a problem. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime, vehicle is listed locally.
