1962 Ford Falcon Station Bus for sale (that's the official name). 112,000 original milesI'm the third owner and acquired it from my dad (who was the second owner) in around 1988Windows all the way aroundSeats are not original--they are from an 80's era Ford WindstarIncludes spare tire on original (?) wheel170 I-6, 3 on the treeIt's been sitting for a long time but will run well with a little TLC. Probably not safe to drive without some minor work to make sure the brakes work, replace the tires, likely needs fuel tank clean-out, oil change, diff fluid change, etc. Some very minor body work needed, but it's overall pretty rust-free. It had some cracks in the filler material at one time so I immediately sanded it down and painted it to prevent rusting.Falcon badges on doorsInterior is basically bare other than seatsIt of course takes regular LEADED fuel, so you'll need a lead additiveEquipped with an aftermarket 1-BBL Holley, but I have the original which I will include. The new carb is auto-choke, but the old one is a manual chock using a cable from the front of the dog house. The choke cabling is still in place, so it will easily take the original carb once rebuilt.Includes the original oil-bath air cleaner, steering wheel center/horn button, and some other misc parts in a box.Comes with THE ORIGINAL keys too! One for the doors, one for the ignition.Includes an owner's manual purchased about 15 years ago as well.Title is free and clear from the state of Colorado. Sold as-is. No warranties, no returns, no reimbursements, no exceptions.Listed price is firm!! No exceptions!Payment MUST BE CLEARED before it moves from its current spot! You must pick up from my home in Oregon -- I will not ship or deliver under any circumstances. I have owned this van for about 28 years. I had always planned to restore it, but never found the time, skill, or money. Sadly it is time to let it go now. It needs a good home where someone will give it the care it needs and deserves! I love this old van. My Ebay username is even tailored after its resemblance to the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine! It is a blast to drive since you sit slightly ahead of the front wheels. This makes the front seat ride incredibly smooth. The angle of the steering wheel makes it feel like a big city bus too. It is not quick by any means, but gets you from point A to point B. It has been basically untouched for many years now. I used to run it every couple of months, sometimes in place and sometimes I'd drive it around the neighborhood, but it has been sitting in its current spot for about 5 years now. That's what told me it is time to let it go! Repairs over the years include: new radiator, new muffler (currently has a Cherry Bomb--it sounds really cool on the old I-6!), new valve cover gasket, new heater core, new heater fan control switch, new defrost ducting, new fuel pump, had generator rebuilt (yes, generator, NOT alternator), new motor mounts, new king pins, new carb. Please keep in mind these repairs have taken place over 28 years, so I'd stop short of using the term "recent"! It was last registered in approximately 2001. Once it is roadworthy and when you register it, you may want to do a little work to get the recorded name changed from Station Bus to Econoline or similar. Twice I have been pulled over by the police because the word "station" was in the registration notes they can see, and they assumed it meant station wagon. It is clearly not a station wagon but a van, so they did their jobs (a little too) well and pulled me over to confirm I didn't have stolen license plates. Ford put out several Falcon branded vehicles in the 60's including the sedan, Ranchero style truck, truck with a van front-end (Econoline truck), and this Econoline-based version. The Econoline "line" has several variants in and of itself which I can no longer recite from memory, but Google can tell you the whole story. Sorry about the pictures too--they don't show the rear or driver's side very well due to its position in my garage. Trust me when I tell you they are both in similar condition to the sides you can see in the pictures. Oh--and I will clear out the junk inside it too, so don't worry about having to deal with that. In case you're wondering what kind of crazy you're dealing with: we live in the woods so the golf clubs in the interior picture are suspended to keep the mice out of the bag. :) Feel free to contact me with questions. I'm happy to respond as long as we don't get into dozens of emails back and forth. Thanks for looking!

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Hi there, I am selling my 1966 Ford Falcon Club Wagon, same family as the Ford Econoline just with windows. I am looking for $4,000 or best offer. It has a 170 ci inline six with a aftermarket 3 speed floor shifter. It is an Heavy Duty version so it has upgraded drum brakes, leaf springs, and the 9 inch rear end with 4.11 gearing from the factory.I purchased this van a few years ago from a nice family that had owned the van since new. It was passed within members of the family a couple times but I am the first owner outside the family. It was purchased new in Los Angeles back in 1966 by the grandfather and was driven on many road trips between SoCal and Mexico, including some trips as far as Guadalajara. My wife and I purchased it to be our surf wagon aka “the swagon”. I have done some work to get it running okay and had plans to do a complete restoration to it. Unfortunately for this particular van I was able to find an all original 1967 van that will be a much better starting point for my restoration, hence the reason this van is for sale. I have a lot of extra pieces that I may include if I get my asking price of $4000. The asking price includes a complete front end to use as patch panels to fix the rust along the windshield frame and the cut dash speaker grill. Additionally, a set of 5 14” Cragar S/S wheels will be included. They will need to be refinished but would look good on the van. The van does have bench seats in it but they are not orginal and are not currently bolted down. The van currently runs but the engine is low on power going up hills. I would recommend a carb tune and tune up. All four wheel cylinders were replaced and the entire brake system bleed and serviced. I was planning on doing an engine swap and have a 250 ci inline six out of a 1970s Maverick that can be installed (though you will need a different transmission) available for an extra $300. V8s can be installed with minor work as well. Please check out a walkthrough of the van here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_d7S6EmLm4&feature=youtu.beNo warranty implied, buyer responsible for shipping though I will help in any way I can to make process smooth. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of placing an accepted offer and make arrangements for payment. A $1000 deposit is due within 48 hours of close of the auction. The balance is due within 1 week of auction close and all financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. If no contact is made within 72 hours I reserve the right to relist the van! Van is also listed for sale locally, so listing may be removed at anytime. These vans are awesome and always turn heads. I just don’t have room for two of them at the moment. Please email me with any and all questions. Thanks, Matt
