2003 E-450 Econoline Superduty Legendary 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Only 29,333 Original Miles Since New Former Ambulance Transformed Into A Hauler! Automatic Transmission, Rear Air Ride, Full Power 14,050 GVWR I came across this E450 about 6 months ago and the ambulance body was removed. I was interested because of the fact it only had 29,000 original miles and being a 7.3L I had to have it. I decided to build a hauler and started with ordering a custom made 42inch cab that mounted to the cab and chassis. I then installed a 2015 f-350 Dually bed and new chrome bumper. Many modification where made since the chassis is wider then a f-350. Two new front fenders where installed because the original fenders had emergencylight cut outs. New Headlights, tow mirrors and stainless wheel simulators where also added. The bed was already painted in oxford white so I had the cab painted to match. I spent $4000 on the paint and body work alone just on the cab and it looks great. Bushwacker fender flares where added to continue the look of the rear dually fenders. New battery was installed on 10/1/2015. The rear cab section interior is unfinished so that the new owner has the option of a sleeper cab or installing seats. My initial idea was to install a rear seat from a conversion van that would fold down as a bed. Many options and windows could be cut in and installed. This Truck/Van looks new and is a head turner. Runs flawless and all gauges and radio works. Tires are in excellent shape along with the brakes. There is no hitch or fifth wheel installed. A $1000 deposit required at end of auction end. PayPal, Money order, Cash or Cashier's Check only. Car needs to be paid in full within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. It has a 170 ci inline six with a aftermarket 3 speed floor shifter. It is an Heavy Duty version so it has upgraded drum brakes, leaf springs, and the 9 inch rear end with 4.11 gearing from the factory.I purchased this van a few years ago from a nice family that had owned the van since new. It was passed within members of the family a couple times but I am the first owner outside the family. It was purchased new in Los Angeles back in 1966 by the grandfather and was driven on many road trips between SoCal and Mexico, including some trips as far as Guadalajara. My wife and I purchased it to be our surf wagon aka “the swagon”. I have done some work to get it running okay and had plans to do a complete restoration to it. Unfortunately for this particular van I was able to find an all original 1967 van that will be a much better starting point for my restoration, hence the reason this van is for sale. I have a lot of extra pieces that I may include if I get my asking price of $4000. The asking price includes a complete front end to use as patch panels to fix the rust along the windshield frame and the cut dash speaker grill. Additionally, a set of 5 14” Cragar S/S wheels will be included. They will need to be refinished but would look good on the van. The van does have bench seats in it but they are not orginal and are not currently bolted down. The van currently runs but the engine is low on power going up hills. I would recommend a carb tune and tune up. All four wheel cylinders were replaced and the entire brake system bleed and serviced. I was planning on doing an engine swap and have a 250 ci inline six out of a 1970s Maverick that can be installed (though you will need a different transmission) available for an extra $300. 1997 Ford Econoline E-150 Van Conversion, Professionally Converted. Leather Seats,...5.4L runs on regular gas, No rips or tears or worn marks, Large windows that open slightly, No problems, a newer entire front end, steering box, tie rods, ball joints, Bilstein Shock absorbers, very good driver, stiff and not bouncy. Tires are Michelin, 70% tread, wearing well, Transmission and Rear Drive gear flushed, Coolant and Brakes flushed regularly, Oil changes, only full synthetic oil. New Battery. No mechanical issues, no leaks or problems. Really drives great, stable, Trailer hitch for max towing. Strong V-8 motor, no smoking, or oil usage. Non-Smoker vehicle, no foul smells or stains. AC is cold and functional front and rear blowers, has DVD and new Sharp 20" high definition tv that are included with sale, Has one rear seat missing for additional room that comes with vehicle sale. Has extended roof for standing up in. Newer 02 sensors. has power inverter to 110volts. Just don't use it enough to keep it. Would make great family hauler or camping vehicle, rear seat electronically folds down into a bed, add a futon or large foam pad with down blankets and create a comfy, safe and warm place to sleep.
