You are looking at a 2007 Ford E450 cab and chassis. This was purchased by me to use as a box truck for catering purposes but have since decided not to do the catering portion. This truck was originally owned by Tripp County Ambulances and it suffered some early issues in the engine. A small metal piece broke off and and ended up ruining the engine and turbo. Ford replaced the engine and turbo so they both have less than 10,000 miles. The truck has sat in limbo for a while now but has been started twice a week and run for extended times. I personally drove this vehicle 1300 miles on the Interstate and it ran perfect. The engine is very strong, the transmission shifts smooth and the turbo sounds great with plenty of boost. The rear tires are close to needing replaced but do still have tread. Overall the cab is in nice condition and shows wear consistent with the miles. The chassis which is 13'10" long is clean and has minimal rust. The back cab cover is temporary but holds on fine and will work to get the vehicle wherever it needs to go. I just noticed the airbag light came on and this was not on a couple weeks ago. I am guessing it is a sensor but I am not guaranteeing anything as to why this is on. You can see from the pictures that this is a straight vehicle that is in pretty descent condition. The A/C works great and blows ice cold. The CD player and stereo work great as well as the power windows,cruise and locks. The power mirrors don't seem to function and I would guess its a fuse or relay but who knows. The vehicle is located in Kearney, NE which is right off of I80 and 2.5 hours from Omaha airport, pick up can be arranged. I can also possibly arrange to meet part way to your destination for a reasonable delivery fee but that would have to be discussed. I will make this transaction as easy as possible to help minimize any issues. I am open to offers at the listing price but please keep in mind this is very low miles for this type of vehicle and the engine and turbo far exceed the listing price......the turbo repair was $1740.00 and I believe the engine was close to $7,000.00. Platte Ford in South Dakota did most of the work. The work can be verified with a Ford factory generated report or through the Ford dealer.
