This 2011 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor recently came out of service from a local suburban police department here in Rochester, NY. There is currently 122,550 Miles on the odometer at the time of this listing. The milage may increase slightly with any test drives. Mechanically, the car is in good shape. The car starts, runs, and drives, good. The suspension is tight, brakes feel good, steering feels exactly as it should, transmission is tight and shifts perfectly. The tires are about 75% or better. And it has a current NYSI till May 2016. It should be noted that there is bearing noise while driving. This may be a wheel bearing. The paint looks good and shines really well. There are going to be some nicks and scratches on the car from decal removal and general use most of which aren't too noticeable unless you're right on top of the car and you're looking for them. There are 2 spots on the hood that have been touched up and are about the size of a quarter each. There is a dent on the right rear quarter panel (pictured). Several small scratches on the left rear door and quarter panel. These are featured in the video as well. The interior of the car shows wear consistent with police use. There are 2 screw holes in the dash as well as some remnants of adhesive and 2 strips of Velcro. The drivers seat shows wear on both the front and some rips on the back of the seat from rubbing against the partition when it was installed. This is noted in the video. The rear seat does not match the front, but was installed in place of the hard plastic prisoner transport seat. It has a few of the options that were available on the CVPI: Power Drivers seat, adjustable pedals, and the coveted 3.55 Trak lok rear end making this Vic faster than the others. This 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor is a former sheriffs car from a local department here in Rochester, NY. It has 133,602 miles at the time of this listing. The car is still being driven and the mileage may increase slightly. Mechanically the car is 100%. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It needs absolutely nothing. The suspension is tight, brakes feel good, steering feels exactly as it should, transmission is tight and shifts perfectly. It truly drives like a car with half the miles. The paint looks good and shines beautifully. There are going to be nicks and scratches on the car from decal removal and general use most of which aren't too noticeable unless you're right on top of the car and you're looking for them. The worst of that is on the roof (pictured). Along with impressions in the paint in the roof from where the light bar mounted (pictured). There are a few other spots, most of which are noted in the video. The interior of the car shows wear consistent with police use. There are 4 screw holes in the dash and the drivers seat shows wear on both the front and some rips on the back of the seat from rubbing against the partition when it was installed. This is noted in the video. The climate control system works exactly as it should and switches through all of its settings. The a/c was functional when last used. The heat works great. All power options work as they should. It presently does not have a radio. Dents and dings, light tan colored interior showing use, extra parts including a push bar and a radio with accessory bracket included... car runs and drives nicely......steering a bit tight......currently airbag light is on.....ill be trying to diagnose why its on....but I wanted to let the buyer know ..... car is sold as is, where is....a/c blows nice and cold.....auction can be ended early if I find a local buyer.... mileage looks to be about 95k..... the instrument cluster light is dull, so its hard to read..... Up for sale is my 1987 Ford Crown Victoria. Upon viewing this car, it becomes apparent that it was very well taken care of. Purchased from Tampa, it spent its life down south, and the condition of the body and undercarriage support that. After acquiring this vehicle, the only work that was necessary was new battery/starter cables, solenoid and starter. This is not a showroom car! If you are looking for a 99 point car, please do not continue because you will only be disappointed! It is, however, extremely clean for its age and is a pleasure to drive. It gets all the looks from passers-by. I've seen many auctions on here where sellers have a section such as "now for the bad" or "now for what's wrong with it". I can honestly say this vehicle has nothing about it that would warrant such a section in this listing. I've gone over it with a fine tooth comb and am pleasantly surprised with how mechanically sound it is. I'll go over the car the best I can in this description, but I'm bound to miss something, so I welcome all questions and will answer promptly. If you require other photos, please ask and they will be provided. If you are local (and even if you are not), I welcome you to come inspect the car and drive it. You won't be disappointed. Here we go: The engine fires right up and idles down perfect. No idle searching, no stumbling, no repeated attempts to fire. Engine, transmission and rear end exhibit no leaks of any kind. P/S system is tight, full, and does not leak. There are no coolant leaks of any kind. Brake fluid is full as it should be with no leaks.A/C is ice cold. It has been retro-fitted to accept R-134a. It has been my experience that these systems can be finnicky after a retro-fit unless properly done. This system works as it should and keeps me very cool (we've been having 80+ days here lately).Transmission shifts smoothly and engagement from 3 to OD is smooth as well. For those of you familiar with the AOD transmissions, they can be pretty harsh sometimes from gear 3 to 4. Sometimes, I don't even feel it shift.Braking system has been inspected with 65-70% life left on all friction surfaces. Rotors and Drums are clean - no scoring or pitting of any kind. Tires have roughly 50-65% life on them. They are 15 inch tires and rather inexpensive when needed, but don't be fooled, they have plenty of life left on them and show no signs of dry rot or uneven wear.The suspension system seems to have new shocks all around. No springs are broken or sagging. Bushings are all there and are quiet. The car rides very well!Brand new exhaust from Catalytic Converters back.Interior: I rate at 9/10Seats are perfect - no rips or tears, no stains.Carpet is nearly perfect. A couple (hardly noticeable) stains on the front section. You'd really have to hunt for them.All door panels are intact, nothing cracked or broken such as arm rests.Dash Pad is cracked around speakers. Pretty standard with these old cars. The rest is in good shape.Body: No rust through anywhere! Few minor surface blemishes. You can see these on the decklid to the right of the license plate.2-3 small dings over the entire surface of the car. It really is in rather great condition otherwise. 2008 P71 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I have no extra fees. I have a clear title that shows it was owned and titled by New York State Police. The motor runs strong and has 251 horsepower. Lots of power and runs cool. Kept up as you would expect. The transmission in these is a Police revised transmission and it shifts great in every gear. The tires are 235/55/r17 and are like new all of the way around. The rear end, suspension and brakes all feel just fine. The car has very cold air conditioning. The heat works as it should. The power windows all work. The power locks and trunk release work. The cruise control works. The horn and power seat are not working. The dual exhaust looks very nice. The radio works but I am not sure about the CD player. The car had fire suppression Equipment in it. It was cut out of the system and removed. I don't have much history on this car since I purchased it at auction to sell here on Ebay. The car is ready for a long journey and daily use. There are no codes or incomplete monitors that would be troublesome. The airbag light is on and I am not sure why. There are some spots that have been touched up. The sticker on the door has been removed and there is glue left. The drivers seat needs 2 of the 4 bolts replaced. I believe the brake lights on the trunk need to be wired but the third brake light works. Always odds and ends on a used car to expect. Enjoy the pictures. The car gets respect!
