This listing is for a retired taxi, now used as a daily runabout car. It does need a few things done to be a nicer car. Steering outer tie rod ends should be replaced, as the car was replaced just before this service came up. Tie rods show wear and play, but are not expensive to replace. There are a couple of oil leaks. One is the oil filter adapter gasket, sitting behind where the oil filter screws on. Next oil change would be a good time to replace this one. Also, there is a bit of seepage from the valve cover gaskets, so they should be done as well. The parking brake is non functional, I have not looked into it yet to specify the exact cause. It's a former cab, so shows overall wear and tear commensurate with that. It is a reliable, good running vehicle as well, thanks to the maintenance it received while in my fleet. Perfect inexpensive transportation for someone. I have estimated the mileage at 340K, should be pretty close to that. Don't let the miles fool you, my personal Towncar, which is this vehicle with a different body, has 800K and still going strong!
