2003 E-450 Econoline Superduty Legendary 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Only 29,333 Original Miles Since New Former Ambulance Transformed Into A Hauler! Automatic Transmission, Rear Air Ride, Full Power 14,050 GVWR I came across this E450 about 6 months ago and the ambulance body was removed. I was interested because of the fact it only had 29,000 original miles and being a 7.3L I had to have it. I decided to build a hauler and started with ordering a custom made 42inch cab that mounted to the cab and chassis. I then installed a 2015 f-350 Dually bed and new chrome bumper. Many modification where made since the chassis is wider then a f-350. Two new front fenders where installed because the original fenders had emergencylight cut outs. New Headlights, tow mirrors and stainless wheel simulators where also added. The bed was already painted in oxford white so I had the cab painted to match. I spent $4000 on the paint and body work alone just on the cab and it looks great. Bushwacker fender flares where added to continue the look of the rear dually fenders. New battery was installed on 10/1/2015. The rear cab section interior is unfinished so that the new owner has the option of a sleeper cab or installing seats. My initial idea was to install a rear seat from a conversion van that would fold down as a bed. Many options and windows could be cut in and installed. This Truck/Van looks new and is a head turner. 1947 Ford Cab Over Original Rust Free Survivor! For consideration is 1947 Ford COE. I purchased this truck with the intentions of making it a car hauler. It was covered in dust from sitting in a barn for a number of years. When I got the truck home and gave it a bath I was stunned by how pristine the body was. There wasn't/isn't rust anywhere. Even the door seams are perfect on the underside. I also have the trim piece that says FORD that some have that wrap around the top of the nose piece. The waterfall grill is near perfect. There are no dings, needs a little polishing and has some very very minor surface rust on the edges nearest the radiator. The front bumper needs re-chromed but isn't horrible still good driver quality. It has been converted to 12 volt. The battery and cables are new. The battery box, which is comprised of two flat steel strips, has a split in one of the pieces of steel, but the battery is still held solidly. The tires are all new, the two in the front and the two rear outside match, the two inside are a different tread and have 100% tread but are slightly older. The wheels are all in excellent shape and painted to match the truck. The frame was apparently cleaned and painted, It has a new exhaust, 2 speed rear end and a PTO. The flathead V8 runs perfectly. The first time I started it I didn't even realize it was running. There is no headliner. The seats have been re-upholstered. The interior is painted to match the outside. The speedometer cable is not connected (I imagine when they painted the inside of the cab the dash was just put back in). All the lights work. The header panel above the drivers seat has a square hole cut into it where the windshield wiper motor is (don't know why) or maybe it's just missing a cover/. It is a period correct enamel paint job, not a new base coat clear coat mirror finish. truck runs drives and stops and is a blast to drive. The truck was originally from Kingman Kansas. The height is approximately 85 inches, length is approximately 186", and center of front wheel to center of rear wheel is approximately 128". I don't know a whole lot more about the truck but if you have questions feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. I truly think it would be hard to find one that is in this nice of shape. This is being sold as is with no warranty. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of winning bid. 29 Ford Model A Pickup Table Writeup below from the cabinetmaker; I am a lifetime cabinetmaker and artist. I bought this cowl and grill from a 1929 Ford Model A Pickup and I started working on a design to use it. I have seen many custom cars in the Rat Rod Style, with their vintage paint and rust and lowered stance. I decided to build a table between grill and cowl. I supported the cowl off the floor so the bottom of the firewall seam was at 30”. That gave my piece the lowered Rat Rod look I was going for. I built two sets of doweled legs and bolted stringers, one for the table and one for the cowl. I wanted the table top to look like antique fenders so I curved the ends. And being Model A’s had a split hood I built the top in two sections. I hung the grill with its filler and bird screen on the front legs. I then cut the top so it wrapped around both the grill and the cowl. I used 6/4 yellow pine after deciding it better fit the rough and rugged style I was trying for. I finished my table with a rust colored stain, water based acrylic and dark wax. I rough waxed every piece of wood but did nothing to the metal pieces so they would keep their 86 year old patina. The whole piece is built in four pieces for easier moving. On top of the table legs are locating dowels while the two top halves have biscuits in the middle to align them. The entire piece is 50”h x 60”w x 72”l. This is a one of a kind piece of art and would look great in your man cave, den, office, media room, library or home theater. This piece lets you bring your love of cars into your home as a usable piece of furniture. Add it to your existing den or build your new man cave around it. None of the vintage pieces have been damaged or modified in this re-purposing.
