1997 Ford Expedition XLT V8 2 Wheel Drive Green 2nd Owner Garaged. Title in hand. I bought this truck 9-4-01 with 45404 original miles. It has been garage kept until recently when I bought a 2015 Traverse. First, I will list what is good about the truck. 01 Running boards were added 02 Newer tires less than 10000 miles. 03 I have 2 sets of keys with both door remotes. 04 Trailer Hitch included which as seldom been used 05 Many new parts over last few years including alternator, battery, sway bars and more. 06 I have owned vehicle for the last 14 years and have maintained oil changes every 3000 miles. I am 42 years old and have never "hot-rodded" or "off-roaded" with vehicle. 07 Cruise control works great 08 Power driver seat still works fine 09 Heater is strong and works great 10 Truck is accident free Second, what is not good about the truck 01 windshield wipers do not work-gear is stripped and needs replaced 02 Exhaust is shot and needs replaced from under the hood and back...it's very loud sounds like a nascar 03 One plug needs replaced ( I had recent tune-up, but mechanic could not replace 1 plug because it was corroded). 04 Right rear tire has slow leak. I have to reinflate about once a month 05 AC has leak. Pump and fan work fine. I had it dye tested and leak is in manifold seal ??? If you charge full with RG-13 it freezes you out, but only lasts about 10 days before you have to do it again. 06 1/2 of dashboard lights are out. Left side is out, but right side works fine. At night all you can see is the speedometer. 07 overhead lights sometimes work and sometimes doesn't 08 Interior has lots of wear from normal use 09 Car is really dirty and needs detailed inside and out. I'm sure there are other good and bad details, but I have listed everything that immediately comes to mind. If you have questions please ask before bidding. This is a solid vehicle for a grease monkey out there that is willing to to many minor repairs. I am a private seller and decided to buy a new car instead of sinking money into this one.
