The rear suspension is 5 link with coil springs and shocks, four wheel disc brakes provide the stopping power. The body is bare metal, chopped, welded and has three cost of clear. The dash and door panels are the same bare metal, pin striped and clear coated. It has a locking glove box and a locking rear storage compartment in the rear. The motor is a built 355CI chevy with dual ford 2bbls riding on a polished aluminum intake. It has a comp cam .500 lift, comp lifters with hardened pushrods. The transmission is a 700R4 overdrive and low first gear, great for cruising. The Rat rad was very well built and if you look it over real good it shows. The cab has no a/c or heat, no power steering, pretty basic old school gauges that all work. The bomber seats are cool however if you are over 6' tall you won't fit in this ride. Im 6' and my knees are bent, I can drive it but I would not want to go to California in it. I plan to take it to a cruise night car show this weekend if the weather holds.
