1946 Dodge lowered, truck is powered by a Chevy 350 automatic transmission. I do not know the gear ratio but I cruise on the highway without the RPM's racing up high. Motor has a nice pep and sound to it coming down the street. Power steering, Air conditioning, Heat. Top is chopped. Train horn (very loud). Very reliable and streetable. Does not run hot even in traffic. I take it to car shows, car meets, dinner dates etc… There are paint chips on the lower front bumper. Custom Interior has black bucket seats and finished with yellow paint and has flames throughout. Tilt steering. The truck is a metal flake yellow that when the sun hits it shows green flake in color (Pretty cool). Its nice to drive to the car shows with AC on while the other show cars don't have it and the owners arrive uncomfortable and sweating. I know what its like because I have been there in the past with other cars I have owned. Between the color and the way this paint glows in the sun you get attention everywhere you go. Even at the large car shows this truck always draws attention. The "gas tank" on the bed is actually a tool or storage box. Has a stereo system with blue tooth, amplifier and is very loud and clear sound. You can hear the bass down the block. Feel free to come inspect and take for a test drive prior to the auction end. 1930 Dodge Brothers Tanker Original 6 Cylinder 78hp Engine Restored in the early 2000s Up for sale is a 1930 Dodge Brothers 1 ton truck. I'm selling the truck for a family to help settle an estate. Photo's where taken on 01-03-2016 and the truck is currently in storage in Voorhees NJ 08009. Truck has a clean Georgia transferable registration and notarized bill of sale that I have possession of and will be released upon full payment. The family informs me that the truck was restored in the early 2000's and was used in local parades and advertising in the town of Nitro WV. They had multiply property's and all there vehicles where registered in Georgia. Upon pickup I installed a new 6 volt battery and with no surprise the truck started and was driven onto the trailer. I have cleaned the truck and I'm sure it would clean up more and would be a great truck to enjoy as-is. I drove the truck once I got home and the brakes got weaker and will need servicing. To my surprise dodge was using hydraulic brakes on there trucks in 1930. Also I cant seem to figure out how to turn the lights on, I believe its one of the dials on the steering wheel but not sure. Runs and sounds really good, I can send a video if you would like to see it running. Nice paint. There's no rust or rust repair to be found on the truck. All tires hold air, front tires look never and rear tires have dry-rot. Drivers door glass is cracked. Please review the photo's and ask questions.
