ORIGINAL CAR: 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger, Very Clean Kentucky Car, B5 Blue, Blue Interior, White Vinyl Top (was removed), 318 Automatic (Column Shift), Front Bench Seat, Manual Steering, Manual Drum Brakes, Rim Blow Horn Steering Wheel, AM Radio, BROADCAST SHEET Located. Car was stripped inside and out except for the dash. Easy disassemble as car was pretty clean. Proper conversion for 4-speed transplant. Metal welded in for all repairs with minimal body filler to get straight lines before painting. Many hours block sanding for quality finish, including engine compartment. 1970 DODGE DART SWINGER. ORIGINAL 340 4 SPD. BUCKET SEAT CAR. THE CAR IS B7 DARK BLUE METALIC. THE BODY WORK AND PAINT WERE COMPLETED MANY YEARS AGO AFTER BEING COMPLETELY DIS-ASSEMBLED AND BLASTED WITH PLASTIC MEDIA. I STARTED THE RE-ASSEMBLY AND GOT SIDE TRACKED. IT HAS BEEN STORED IN MY GARAGE SINCE. I HAVE A NEW MOTOR TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY ON THE ENGINE STAND READY TO GO. IT HAS BEEN DYNO TESTED AND TUNED. I HAVE A NEW INTERIOR AND MOST OTHER PARTS TO FINISH IT. ALL THE PARTS ARE NEW OR PROFESSIONALLY REFURBISHED. THE REAR WHEEL TUBS HAVE BEEN WIDENED BY 3" BUT KEEP THEIR STOCK APPEARANCE. THE REAR END HOUSING HAS BEEN SHORTENED AND THE SUPER STOCK SPRINGS HAVE BEEN MOVED IN TO ALLOW FOR A WIDER REAR TIRE. I AM SELLING A 69 DART DRAG CAR OR PRO STREET PROJECT. IT HAS BEEN A DRAG CAR FOR MANY YEARS AND HAS HAD SEVERAL DIFFERENT MOTOR COMBINATIONS.THIS IS WHY IT HAS 42,000 MILES. IT NOW HAS A 64 383 THAT IS MAINLY STOCK AND RAN GOOD WHEN IT WAS LAST RUN A FEW YEARS BACK.IT HAS A 727 AUTOMATIC TRANS WITH STOCK CONVERTOR.THE CAR HAS SAT FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS. I JUST RECENTLY PICKED UP THIS CAR ABOUT A YEAR AGO BUT I HAVE A CHANCE AT A CAR I BEEN TRYING TO BUY FOR A LONG TIME. I WOULD KEEP THIS DART IF IT WERE NOT FOR THIS CHANCE.THIS DART HAS A SOLID BODY. THE QUARTERS HAVE HAD SOME WORK DONE TO THEM TO FIT THE BIG TIRES. IT HAS BEEN MINI TUBBED AND THE SPRINGS MOVED IN AS WELL. THE RIGHT FRONT FENDER AND RIGHT REAR QUARTER NEED PAINTED THEN YOU CAN TEAR UP THE TRACK OR STREET. THE CAR HAS BEEN PAINTED ESCALADE PEARL. WOULDNT TAKE MUCH TO DO THESE 2 AREAS AND IT WOULD LOOK PRETTY GOOD.THE FLOOR PANS ARE GOOD EXCEPT FOR A COUPLE SMALL PIN HOLES IN FRONT PANS.FRAME RAILS ARE NICE. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT HAD FENDERWELL HEADERS AT ONE TIME SO I PUT ANOTHER SET OF UNCUT INNER FENDERS IN, THEY ARE JUST SCREWED IN FOR NOW,COULD USE A FEW TACK WELDS THEN THEY WOULD BE FINE. THEY FIT GOOD.THERE ARE DISC BRAKES UP FRONT THAT NEED NEW LINES.IN MY OPINION THE CAR SHOULD BE REPLUMBED WITH ALL NEW BRAKES. THERE ARE NONE ON REAR WHEELS.I HAVE THE FACTORY WIRING HARNESSES,HOOD HINGES,ALUMINUM RADIATOR,HURST PRO MATIC SHIFTER AND FEW SMALL ITEMS. IT HAS A HOLLEY BLUE ELECTRIC PUMP AND FRAM FILTER MOUNTED IN THE REAR.ALL WINDOWS ROLL UP NICELY BUT YOU WILL NEED A WINDSHIELD.THERE ARE TWO HOODS A GLASS SIX PACK AND A FLAT STEEL HOOD. I WAS GONNA RUN THE FLAT HOOD FOR A SLEEPER LOOK ON THE STREET.
