For sale is my 2007 Dodge Dakota V-6 4X4 with the quad cab (4 full doors). The truck only has 129k miles on it, but it will gradually be rising as I am still driving it. Recently I replaced the, Upper intake manifold gasket, knock sensor (very prone to fail on dodges and not a easy fix), Mass air flow sensor, thermostat, headliner, and new seat Dickie work seat covers. The trucks body is nice shape and the interior is also very nice. The truck has a powerful V6 motor so you can still tow and not worry about being under powered or getting stuck, but at the same time it also gets phenomenal gas mileage of 16MPG around town and 25 MPG on the highway. The 4wd system is push button with automatic locking hubs so no getting out of truck, just hit the button and your good to go. I can not think of anything the truck needs except a oil and filter change in about 1000 miles, which is just maintenance. When we got this one in we cleaned it up but mechanically it didn't need any attention. It came in well maintained and basically ready to sell. The truck had just had a large service done prior to us purchasing it. There is a good matching set of all season tires on the truck and the brakes have plenty of life left as well. Finding a Dakota in this condition is very hard, also one with no rust over the wheels or the door bottoms is nearly impossible. 175,000 miles, still my daily driver, clean title, runs and drives well. needs cosmetic (mostly rust is starting at lower areas near bottom at rear wheel wells, above one rear wheel had been crudely repaired, spray painted (driver's side), some small dings around vehicle otherwise), and suspension work (front right oversteers a bit if you let it, wheel bearing noise, shock, rear "bumping") otherwise, good inspection till 7/2016, and pretty much everything works. Can probably use (at least rear) brakes soon, and I have brand new rear shoes to pass along, as well as used spare serpentine belt for emergency. No check engine lights. Tailgate is FUBAR and needs replacing to be fully functional. You can probably get used for around $100. and up (depending what you'll settle for), and will need to replace stud on left side that tail latch goes to (was cut off to get gate down). Rear bumper bent, and pushed in a bit also. Pretty nice interior with few issues... (at 12v power & lighter plug & ashtray lower dashboard, other typical wear issues). KBB.com said $3700 as book value for what seemed fairly well described under their criteria for a "Fair" condition vehicle, but I pretty much split that in half to be realistic, due to issues... Never any major accidents, rear bumper pushed in a bit from small hit; and I have all original owner's, as well as my parts & service receipts, and records.... As-is, as pictured.
