That's right, this is an exceptionally popular, but very rare muscle car, that's still in its correct wild color. Even better is this one came from the factory loaded! Does it get any better than finding a California Charger? Sure, when it also has had a professional respray of its original color. This classic orange Mopar shade is called Go Mango. The correct-spec white vinyl roof does not have a cool a name for its hue, but it looks great, and matches the factory optional bumblee stripe on the rear. The squared-off bodywork with its exquisite curves, and butch simulated vents on the front doors, looks good in any color, but this bright orange finish seems to give it an aggressive touch that cannot be ignored. Of course these Chargers never needed much help with intimidation, thanks to the wraparound chrome front bumper. It draws attention to the recessed front end that looks like it will inhale anything that gets in its way. Then again, most people (like Rosco P. Coltrane) only saw the exceptionally wide taillights of these Mopars as they rapidly pulled away. A burnt orange interior is the last thing you'd expect to see on this car, which is kinda cool. After all, it's going to make people at the car show ask you what the original color arrangement was, and you can show them the fender tag with the rare correct EK2/C6K4 combination. Beyond just the color novelty, this will draw attention for being a thoroughly loaded car right from the factory. It has the high-back bucket seats with center console, and everything looks comprehensively original from the heater/defrost controls to the AM radio. There's plenty of '60s style luxury wood veneering on the dash, console, steering wheel, and of course, the iconic pistol grip shifter. Because you will be rowing through the gears, you'll appreciate the full gauge package, including a large tachometer next to the speedometer. In a muscle car that been this clean so far, you know exactly what you'll see when you lift the hood. It's an exceptionally tidy engine bay, nearly overflowing with motor. The big 440 cubic-inch Magnum V8 is the factory-correct powerplant for this car, and it just looks awesome in its period-correct dressings. Of course, in any other engine bay the orange block would be a wild standout color. Just in case you don't want to lift the hood, the headers and dual exhaust gives this car a roar that warns others about the beastly motor. And you'll be able to uphold the king of the streets attitude thanks to the four-speed manual transmission and Super Track Pack rear end that has a 9.75 Dana 60 axle with 4.10 ratio - that's perfect for power takeoffs. And boy, a set of mirrors at the car show will show off how nice the underside is. But, also don't be afraid to take this coupe on the long trips thanks to front disc brakes and power steering. It's getting harder and harder to find these factory high-spec big-block Chargers. This is the one that gives you everything you could want (even the owner's manual) for far less than the price of building or restoring a vintage Mopar for yourself. And every so often we get a killer Pro-tourer that instantly draws a crowd, even in our showroom of exclusive, one-of-a-kind muscle cars. This vivid Dodge Charger, which mixes 480 cubic inches of Hemi power with a proven Tremec 5-speed, a thoroughly massaged suspension and custom leather upholstery, has been drawing stares ever since it rolled in to our parking lot. And, in fact, between its outrageous aesthetics and chill-inducing stance, the car has so much appeal that we've joked about keeping it around as a kryptonic display piece! But, logic ultimately prevailed, and we decided to offer it to you as an incredible classic that can be enjoyed both on the road and at the show. BODYWORK/TRIM After spending most of its life as a solid driver, this clean coupe was the perfect starting point for a no-holds-barred rotisserie build that decked a hot Hemi big block in savage MoPar attitude. To kick things off, the car's broad-shouldered Hamtramck body was stripped all the way down to bare metal. Once that metal was prepped and ready to spray, DuPont Dodge Viper Snakeskin Green 2-stage was stacked on a virtually flawless profile. When that profile was completely sealed and fully buffed, Flat Black war stripes were aligned with "HEMI" and "480" call-outs. And eventually, this Dodge rolled onto the streets as a positively evil muscle car that tempers an old school, no-nonsense demeanor with new age panache! 1968 was a notable year in American pop culture. The first Big Mac was served, Elvis made a huge comeback and Dodge released what is probably the most iconic muscle car in its long history of performance. Sure, you really can't go wrong driving any Charger. But when it comes to popularity, few will argue the incredible significance of a '68 or '69-vintage B-Body. At the front of this coupe, a black, stainless-trimmed grille hangs a prominent "Charger R/T" script above a body-width bumper and green-detailed fratzog parking lamps. Above that grille, a sculpted, black-trimmed hood hangs small turn indicators in front of dark-tint glass that's set in spotless stainless frames. At the sides of that bonnet, a faceted profile anchors chrome Chrysler door handles beneath traditional mirrors and a familiar 'pit stop' fuel filler. And at the back of that profile, a black, stainless-trimmed valance centers a bright "R/T" emblem between jet-inspired taillights and a second body-width bumper. ENGINE Hoist this Dodge's hood and you'll find 480 cubic inches of all-American bliss! Crossing big horsepower with neck-snapping torque, that powerplant's revolutions begin with a polished, "HEMI" branded air cleaner that's stretched over dual Carter 4-barrels. At the base of those carbs, an aluminum Chrysler intake feeds cast iron heads, which are dressed with requisite Organisol-coated valve covers. At the base of those heads, TTI long-tube headers frame a beefy, cast iron block. At the front of that block, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor sequences fire between high quality Painless Wiring and clean Moroso Blue Max plug wires. At the front of those wires, traditional V-belts spin modern power steering and a modern AC compressor at the side of an aluminum water pump. That pump circulates coolant through an oversized Wizard Cooling radiator that's mounted between a polished overflow and a snazzy, custom-fabricated fan shroud. And, aesthetically, the Hemi Orange mill provides an excellent contrast to the car's smooth, body-matched engine bay. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Toss this Charger on a lift and you'll find a Snakeskin Green undercarriage that's a product of professional grade customization and a roster of top-notch components. Behind the big block, a slick Tremec TKO600 5-speed pairs a McLeod billet steel flywheel with a street performance clutch. That clutch engages a proven 8.75-inch rear axle that's fitted with big, 3.91 gears. At the front of the car, a familiar AlterKtion front-clip centers a beefy sway bar between adjustable Air Ride Technologies shocks. Opposite that clip, a triangulated 4-link aligns two more Air Ride Technologies shocks behind welded subframe connectors. Modern power rack-and-pinion steering provides smooth turns and quick reflexes. Four Wilwood calipers utilize a Wilwood master cylinder and Hydratech hydroboost hydraulics to squeeze four drilled and slotted Wilwood rotors. Exhaust rolls from the aforementioned headers in to straight, large-diameter pipes that are married to SPINTECH Performance mufflers. And at the corners of the chassis, Satin Black Rushforth Rated-X spin 245/45ZR19 Hankook Ventus V12 EVOs in front of 255/45ZR20 Hankook Ventus V12 EVOs. INTERIOR Inside this awesome coupe, a custom leather interior is clean, well fitted and surprisingly simple. At the center of the cockpit, a quartet of bucket seats centers tight, snake-inspired hides under small rivets and a stylish green accent. In front of those thrones, a custom, green-trimmed dash hangs Classic Instruments All American telemetry beside Kenwood touchscreen audio and controls for the car's modern heat and air conditioning. At the bottom of that dash, a custom, full-length console founds a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter on fresh carpet that frames billet foot pedals. At the edges of that carpet, riveted side panels, which mimic the outside of the car's doors, seat pistol grip handles in front of modern power windows. Above those panels, a leather headliner flows to a custom package tray. In front of the driver, a Flaming River steering wheel laps a tilting Flaming River column. And behind the passengers, a custom upholstered trunk does a great job of hiding the car's battery. DOCUMENTATION Despite its transformation into an all-out Pro-touring super star, this Dodge enjoys quite a bit of historic provenance. Here's a short list of everything that's included with the car's sale.An original Chrysler broadcast sheetThe car's original fender tagAn original Owner's ManualAn original Chrysler CerticardA copy of the car's 1968 titleA vintage registration card1977 AAMCO service records documenting a replacement transmissionA small stack of component manualsTwo Air Ride Technologies key fobsA Speedway Motors fuel gauge interface module Built for the most discerning muscle car fans on the planet, this Charger is the perfect opportunity to bask in the spoils of owning a fresh, world-class classic. For sale is my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T (5.7L V8 Automatic), 2 owners, no accident, clear title. The car looks good and runs great: 340 HP! I've owned the car since 2008, and am selling it to buy a larger family vehicle. The car has always been taken care of, and all invoices are available ** Oil change (full synthetic), alignment, A/C service, new front rotors & pads completed within the last 2 months ** Battery and all 4 tires were replaced within the last year and have less than 10,000 miles on them ** All safety recalls (air bags) completed at the Hendrick dealership in 2015 ** There are a few noticeable items: a dent on the front right quarter panel above the wheel well, typical paint wear and tear with the exception of some paint peeling in the right corner of the back bumper & in the middle of the front bumper. There is also some warping & a crack on the top of the dash due to the heat. I am selling the car as-is, locally, pick up only. Sales are final, no warranty. I reserve the right to cancel the listing at any time due to the car being listed locally on Craigslist. If you have any questions text me at 910-364-6397. During Detroit's first golden era, manufacturers were constantly trying to find a way to get younger buyers into their showrooms. Not surprisingly, Chrysler eventually made both the Hemi and the Magnum available to Charger buyers. And that combination of big power and dramatic looks created a rare street brawler which topped the food chain in both performance and appeal. This stunning Charger is an authentic V-code car that's dominated national events to the tune of a Mopar Nationals first place award, two AACA first place awards and an AACA factory high performance award. Freshly restored, powered by an original big block and propelled by a correct Torqueflite transmission, it's a world class contender that'll score judge for judge in the arena and stand match for match on the street. And if you're in the market for an exceptionally restored Mopar that has all the right stuff to continue gaining value, they just don't get much better! With an original broadcast sheet and multiple national awards in its arsenal, there should be little doubt about this Dodge's pedigree. But, for the sake of being thorough, I'll go ahead and break down its detailed fender tag.WS23:- Dodge Coronet or Charger- Special- 2-door hardtopV1A:- 440 cubic inch, 385 horsepower V8 that's equipped with three 2-barrel carburetors- 1971 model year- Assembled at Chrysler's Lynch Road facility155603: Assembly sequence numberE87: 440 cubic inch, high performance V8 that utilizes three 2-barrel carburetors to create 390 horsepowerD32: Heavy duty Torqueflite automatic transmissionCW3: Bright White paintD5X9:- Luxury trim- Cloth or vinyl bucket seats- Black interiorTX9: Black door frames218: Assembled on February 18th, 1971145610: Order numberV1X: Full, black vinyl roofU: Built to USA specificationsV68: Longitudinal stripe deleteC16: Console that's complete with a wood grain panel26: 26 inch radiatorP31: Power windows This awesome coupe's high quality, frame-off restoration began with a clean, original body that, based on appearance, has led a straight, trouble-free life. That said, this isn't 1971 anymore, and this Charger is no longer a run-of-the-mill assembly car, so that solid body was thoroughly stripped, lovingly sanded and massaged to a level that's much nicer than its original showroom condition. Once the car's panels were correctly aligned, and its intimidating slab-sided ambiance fully reconstructed, a correct coat of Chrysler code CW3 Bright White paint was expertly applied under a correct vinyl top and fresh R/T decals. And today, this razor-sharp Mopar sits as an ultra-straight, fully detailed pavement pounder that elicits loud comments and long stares every time it hits the road! Wearing lines that originated on Chrysler designer Carl Cameron's famous Charger Turbine Concept, this classic cruiser makes a bold and distinct styling statement from virtually every angle. At the front of the car, a split and chrome-trimmed grille hangs a bold "DODGE" script between four pristine headlights, clear parking lamps and an aggressive chin spoiler. At the top of the car, a louvered hood props two pristine "440 SIX PACK" emblems and two fresh lanyards in front of like-new glass that's framed in bright stainless trim. At the sides of the car, prominent fender lines, which are complemented by vertical door inlays, hang new chrome mirrors, small chrome handles and fresh "Charger R/T" scripts above dent-free wheel mouldings. And at the back of the car, a bright silver valence centers textured tail lights between a black spoiler, "Charger R/T DODGE DIVISION" emblems, a mirror-like bumper and red-inlayed exhaust tips. Lift this Dodge's long, freshly finished hood and you'll find an original 440 cubic inch Chrysler V8 that's been fully rebuilt and thoroughly detailed for show. On the sides of that big engine, 2536430-8 casting numbers indicate the presence of a correct RB powerplant. Just above those casting numbers, official January (1) 29th (29) of 1970 (70) casting dates align perfectly with the car's February production. And just below those casting dates, a matching 1A155603 partial VIN confirms the mill is indeed original equipment. At the top of the 390 horsepower monster, a correct trio of Holley 2-barrel carburetors ride within a giant, "440 MAGNUM SIX PACK" branded air cleaner. At the base of those carburetors, a correct Hemi Orange intake rides between original heads and traditional stamped steel valve covers. At the front of those valve covers, a reliable points distributor sequences spark through reproduction Chrysler Electronic Suppression wires. At the sides of that distributor, restored exhaust manifolds funnel spent gases into great sounding, true dual pipes. And in front of those manifolds, a correct 26 inch radiator circulates water through pliable hoses and authentic squeeze clamps. Aesthetically, the car's highly appealing engine bay impresses all the way from its Bright White fenders to its Hemi Orange block. Many details, such as a fresh Mopar red cap battery, a Chrysler branded washer tank and a Chrysler voltage regulator, make it seem like 1971 all over again. And functionally, a quick turn of the ignition switch springs the spry motor into a beefy, rumbling idle. By 1971, most street racers knew automatic gearboxes weren't necessarily a handicap. And today, these transmissions consistently pull numbers that are just as fast, or faster, than the best row-it-yourself cars. Behind this Charger's stout RB you'll find a stalwart A727 TorqueFlite that shifts smoothly and powers down the road with ease. With the car's floors, 'clean' is the name of the game as a cool layer of satin black paint is decorated with Bright White overspray and detailed with a full array of marks and tags. At the front of those floors, a good looking factory suspension is highlighted by correctly colored torsion bars and a rebuilt power steering system. At the back of those floors, a familiar Dana 60 posi-traction rear end utilizes steep 4.10 gears to throw power to the pavement with authority. At the center of those floors, a 2.5 inch, true-dual exhaust system sends spent gases through factory replacement mufflers, rear-mounted resonators and correct stainless tips. And at the corners of those floors, power front disc and rear drum brakes provide quick and reliable stops to perfectly counter 15 inch Rallye wheels and fresh G60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. Sit down inside this great looking Charger and you'll find a new vinyl interior that's accented with tasteful wood applique and bright stainless trim. The first thing you'll notice is the car's high quality bucket seats, which feature comfortable pleats on top of straight frames and what feels like brand new foam. The second thing you'll notice is new black carpet, which is protected by slick "R/T" branded floor mats. And the third thing you'll notice is a correct factory console, which wraps a traditional T-handle shifter in a contoured, driver-oriented design. At the sides of the car, full door panels hang fresh trim and orange-laced "Charger" emblems above slick chrome handles and small power window buttons. At the front of the car, a great looking dash hangs a rebuilt instrument cluster above a correct AM/FM radio and Chrysler's super rare stereo/recorder system. At the back of the car, a fully restored trunk hides a new mat beneath a new jack, a full-size spare and correct decklid markings. And in front of the driver, an infamous Mopar Tuff Wheel mixes a whole lot of form with a whole lot of function. As previously mentioned, this pristine Mopar enjoys some very prestigious accolades. Here's a brief list of the car's major awards:First Place at the 2012 AACA Annual Grand National MeetFactory High Performance Award for the 2011 AACA Eastern DivisionFirst Place at the 2010 Mopar NationalsFirst Place at the 2009 AACA Annual Grand National Meet As a nod to all of our friends who are staunch authenticity buffs, the sale of this clean Chrysler cruiser includes an original broadcast sheet and an original owner's manual. With a highly detailed restoration that was completed by expert builders, this awesome Charger is about as close to original as a restored car can get. It's fast, comfortable, stylish, and when you take a minute to look at the quality of its workmanship, you realize that the cost of restoring it to this level is about twice what it takes to drive it out of our RK Motors Charlotte showroom. If you're in the market for some old school, investment grade muscle that will gain value for years to come, it's time to stop reading and pick up the phone! From the Indy Cylinder Head 440 powered 1969 Dodge Charger 500, "Maximum Effect", which was featured at the 2010 Mopar Nationals and quickly sold for $180,000.00, to the 426 HEMI powered 1970 Dodge Charger R/T which sold for $185,000.00 at the RK Motors Collector Car Auctions May, 2013 Pinehurst sale, their Pro Touring Chargers have consistently hit the mark. Combining the best of classic styling combined with old school muscle and modern upgraded components, their collaborative builds have set the benchmark for beautiful, yet functional pro touring machines. Which brings us to their latest and final build: this incredible 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Pro Touring car. The vision for this Charger R/T was established by experience earned from their prior builds, taking the best of each and rolling them up into an a new design, the focus of which was to preserve the raw muscle car appeal of the classic 1968-1970 Dodge Charger body style, while allowing for maximum performance and reliability. Starting with a well-worn, yet dry and rust free Arizona 1970 Dodge Charger R/T as the foundation for the project, OEM sheet-metal is present from back to back. The body shell, doors, fenders, hood & deck-lid were subjected to a comprehensive acid dip and e-coating process, the very best process for creating a straight body that will stand the test of time and road miles. With a fresh canvas. every inch was carefully massaged before multiple coats of PPG Grigio Pearl Metallic were sprayed on every body panel. . For the hood black-out treatment and bumblebee stripes, black was selected. The combination was then buried in clearcoat and buffed to near perfection. The final finish is beyond reproach, offering mirror-like reflections from all angles. The paintwork is matched by even gaps around the hood, doors, and deck lid. While assembly line cars of the 1970s weren't known for their fit and finish, our team made sure to leave those imperfections in the past. Finishing off the iconic 1970 Dodge Charger body is carefully restored chrome, stainless steel and anodized aluminum, done to perfection. Inside the Charger, a stunning black leather interior was carefully installed. Though it has a custom feel, the design can largely be accredited to the Chrysler Corporation. The classic 1970 Dodge Charger R/T bucket seat interior is a timeless design-why mess with perfection? The restoration began with new high-grade black carpet set covering Dyna-mat, which mitigates road noise and exhaust heat. and a factory wood-grain center console. Steve Pearson Upholstery Unlimited supplied the hand-stitched vented leather front and rear seats, complete with white piping. Firm and supportive, these seats could easily pass for pieces borrowed from a late model sports car. At either side, new black door panels are highlighted by round Charger R/T logos and new hardware all around. The view from the driver seat is the stuff of muscle car dreams with a wood-finished steering wheel and pistol-grip shifter granting control over the car. Beyond the wheel, the restored dash shows off a 150 mph speedometer sits next to a tachometer with an integrated clock. Smaller gauges monitor other HEMI vitals including fuel level, temperature, oil pressure, and alternator output. To the right, controls for the updated HVAC system are placed within reach directly above the Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD with Ipod hook-up head unit which sends signal to new Pioneer speakers. An Ipod cable is smartly routed through the center console for easy and secure hook-up. Linking the restored interior interior to the refinished exterior is a complete new set of glass. Behind the rear seat, the trunk is finished to the same high standards as the rest of the car. New black carpet sits beneath an Optima red top battery and the gas filler neck that feeds into the custom fuel tank below. The heart of this Charger R/T is a brand new Indy Cylinder Head 500 V8 Wedge motor. Prior builds have been both HEMI and wedge powered, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The consensus of the builders was that the Wedge powered cars are simply better. They produce more torque, are more reliable and can be run at lower compression, which allows for use of modern fuels with little impact on performance. Balanced and blue-printed, this power-plant produces 575 dyno-proven horsepower, with an equal 575 pound feet of torque. Here is a partial build list for this bullet-proof engine: Billet Specialties front runner serpentine system4340 Crank (4.150 stroke) Eagle H- Beam rods Speed Pro hyper pistons 4.830 9.5 :1 compression Edelbrock Performer RPM heads Comp Hydraulic cam (.509) MP black wrinkle valve covers M-1 single plane intake 750 Mighty Demon carburetorMilodon oil pan and tray MP electronic distributor Custom plug wires (black) At the front of the engine, a March Performance serpentine setup spins accessories including a polished air conditioning compression and power steering pump. Across from the pieces, a polished direct-fit Be Cool radiators keeps the mill cool with the aid of dual electric fans. Spend exhaust gases funnel through ceramic coated headers which connect to a full three-inch TTI exhaust system equipped with DynoMax mufflers. Put the car on a lift and more show-quality craftsmanship shines through. From the beautifully finished floors to the fresh hardware and braided lines, every inch is worth a closer look. At the front, an impressive RMS front subframe with rack and pinion & tubular control arms supports the Indy 500 V8. Behind the Wedge motor, a Keisler-modified Tremec TKO-500 five-speed manual transmission with a Quick Time bellhousing makes quick work of shifts. At the rear, a Moser Dana 60 rear axle with 3.54 gears puts the power to the pavement with authority. Around the thoroughly upgraded drive-train, an equally capable suspension starts with RMS 1.25-inch tubular control arms with heavy duty rod ends and Afco double adjustable coil-over racing shocks, for a fully adjustable front end. The rear suspension is a Detroit Speed altered four link setup with Panhard. Wilwood 12-inch rotors and six-piston front/ four-piston rear calipers can be found at all four corners of the car. This suspension set-up offers the confident response of a modern sports car. At the corners, a set of 18 and 19-inch Fiske three piece wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Super Sports for maximum grip. Pro-touring cars are about cancelling out the compromises of muscle car ownership and replacing them with new capabilities. With a balanced, fast revving big block Wedge motor, quick-shifting Tremec five-speed, and a fully upgraded suspension, this 1970 Charger R/T annihilate any complaints regarding performance or cornering. The addition of conveniences like power steering, disc brakes, air conditioning, and a modern stereo simply sweeten the deal. Built by the best for the most discriminating muscle car fans the scene has to offer, this Charger is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the rewards of a fresh world-class pro-tourer without endless calls to vendors, builders, and banks. And this spectacular Dodge Charger R/T, 1 of only 211 cars equipped with a Hemi/4-speed drivetrain for the 1968 model year, is pretty much the definition of investment grade. Wrapping that original Hemi/4-speed drivetrain in a roster of rare options, many original parts and classy Bronze Metallic paint, this incredible MoPar combines some of the nastiest muscle your money can buy with one of the best looking packages to ever prowl American streets! And what's better: it's a fully documented, 3-owner classic that, fresh out of a 2-year, rotisserie restoration, has never been offered for public sale. We know you've been patiently watching our inventory turn, waiting for the definitive blue chip MoPar. Well, here it is! BODYWORK/TRIM The beneficiary of a highly detailed, rotisserie restoration that was completed in 2013, this fully sorted Charger mixes killer street presence with classic MoPar attitude. Residing in Massachusetts for the entirety of its 47-year existence, the car was purchased by its second owner at a neighborhood yard sale in the summer of 1984. That owner, intent on conducting a slow and steady restoration, eventually ended his plight two decades later when the car's current owner purchased what amounted to a rust-free, original body and many boxes of parts. And, down but not out, this mighty Dodge would spend the next eight years safely packed away, with 2012 kicking off a 2-year, no-holds-barred restoration. The car's arrow-straight body, which is original metal save for a few patches in its rear window channel, was completely stripped, lightly massaged and thoroughly block-sanded into a collection of virtually flawless surfaces. Once those surfaces were completely clean and fully prepped, their all-business demeanor was reanimated in smooth DuPont 2-stage that reflects correct Bronze Metallic pigment. And today, this exclusive, lust worthy classic rolls as a spectacular 'show and go' piece that's so much fun it'll make you feel guilty! There's just something about a broad-shouldered Dodge that appeals to pretty much everyone. Whether it's 'wow factor', a sense of strength or simple surface detailing, this coupe's hard-edged, modernist panels convey classic Chrysler charm via clean and chiseled aesthetics. At the front of the car, an original, dual-port grille hangs a bright "Charger R/T" script between a body-width bumper, artfully hidden headlights and round, fratzog-branded marker lamps. Above that grille, a scalloped hood leads the eye to like-new glass that's sandwiched between a correct vinyl roof, traditional silver wipers and original stainless trim. At the sides of that hood, a faceted profile centers "Charger" and "HEMI" badging between Chrysler door handles, stylish chrome mirrors and a familiar 'pit stop' fuel filler. And at the back of that profile, a correct bumblebee stripe frames small taillights, a prominent "Charger R/T" emblem, a second body-width bumper and clean stainless exhaust tips. ENGINE Toss the car's long hood and you'll find an original, 426 cubic inch Hemi V8 that displays a famous 2468330 casting number and January (1) 15th (15) 1968 (68) casting date below a matching partial VIN. As the Dodge division's top option for power hungry gearheads, Chrysler's legendary elephant motor utilizes cast iron heads, an oversquare bore, a forged steel crank, forged steel rods, forged aluminum pistons and a hydraulic cam to twist stout 10.25 to 1 compression into a stated 425 horsepower and 490 lb./ft. of torque. All that high performance hardware spins in a glossy, Hemi Orange block that hangs attractive, Organisol-coated valve covers over correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds. Chrome-cased original carburetors, rebuilt by Harms Auto of Spokane Valley, Washington, work with a high performance, cast iron intake to supply a perfect mixture of fuel and air. Compression is sparked by high quality Chrysler Electronic Suppression cables, which are jolted by an original, factory-tagged distributor. And resultant combustion is cooled by an original, 26-inch radiator that's fitted with fresh hoses and old school squeeze clamps. Visually, the car's Bronze engine compartment is clean and understated... Well, as understated as a classic Hemi can be. Thanks to a thorough rebuild, conducted by the experts at Hemi Haines, the car performs just as well as when it rolled out of the showroom. And there's quite a few restored, original parts, like an old school fuel pump, a rebuilt alternator, a rebuilt starter and a rebuilt wiper motor. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Under this pillarless B-Body, glossy floors frame a solid chassis that's been massaged far beyond factory standards. Like its Hemi V8, the car's original 4-speed, which is branded with a matching partial VIN, needed very little work to be in tight, like-new condition. That stalwart gearbox sends power to a correct Dana 60 rear end, which is equipped with correct 3.54 gears. At the front of the car, Chrysler's beefy Hemi suspension utilizes original torsion bars, an A12 sway bar and original power steering components to make quick work of big bumps and tight curves. At the back of the car, that same Hemi suspension hangs original, correctly staggered springs at the sides of a leak-free fuel tank. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. Exhaust is handled by correct, true-dual pipes, which bend around an original, H-shaped crossover, factory replacement mufflers and original resonators. And all this MoPar goodness rolls on original steel wheels, which spin 225/70R15 BF Goodrich redlines around Bronze paint and fratzog-branded center caps. INTERIOR Inside this awesome Dodge you'll find a well-fitted interior that, with the exception of carpet and headliner material, is completely original. The firm front bucket and rear bench seats display no significant signs of wear. In front of those thrones, a crack-free dash hangs rebuilt factory gauges beside a correct radio delete. At the bottom of that dash, like-new carpet centers "HEMI" branded floor mats on a long Hurst shifter and stainless-trimmed console. At the sides of that carpet, flashy door panels hang straight armrests, factory power windows and pliable map pockets under bright trim and orange-tinged "Charger" emblems. Above those panels, old school shoulder belts frame a tight, black headliner. In front of the driver, a vintage steering wheel spins a satin horn ring around a monochromatic centerpiece. And behind the passengers, a professionally restored trunk anchors a bias-ply spare between a fresh decklid decal, a correct jack and a plaid mat. HISTORICAL INFORMATION Since our sale includes both an original Broadcast Sheet and an original fender tag, there's no questioning this Charger's highly accurate restoration. Remember the 1970 Charger we built called "Maximum Effect"? You know, the black Charger that was featured in numerous magazines, attended the 2010 Mopar Nationals, and sold for a healthy six figures before even debuting on our website? This Plum Crazy Purple cruiser, dubbed "Maximum Effect II" is the sister project to that storied build. And naturally, it was assembled to the same incredibly high standards while incorporating a few tricks of its own. First off, the car's body has been fully restored to better-than-factory specifications. And by that, I mean this Charger is INCREDIBLY straight. Look down its massive quarters and you'll find flowing lines, tight doors and even gaps. That flawless fit and finish is founded on comprehensive prep which included: complete disassembly, non-acidic chemical dipping, first class metal work and additional support bars for the engine bay. Once those basics were solid, the body was subjected to a coating process that included complete E-coat submergence and a 400 degree bake. After E-coating, priming and hours of blocking, Plum Crazy basecoat was layered in PPG clear. When that clear dried, everything was wet-sanded and buffed to an incredible shine. And finally, we installed Lamborghini Silver striping. While that shell was being subjected to a strict workout routine, its stock trim was plated and polished into immaculate, show-ready jewelry. At the front of the car, an original, Lamborghini Silver grille hangs a modern "CHARGER" script inside hidden headlights, amber parking lamps and bright chrome trim. Above that grille, a pinned hood leads the eye to like-new glass, muted wipers and bright stainless frames. At the sides of that hood, a faceted profile hangs fresh handles and chrome mirrors in front of a bright 'pit stop' fuel filler. And at the back of the car, a Lamborghini Silver valence frames wide tail lights and a modern "CHARGER" script above small reverse lamps and a chrome, body-width bumper. Okay, so it's drop-dead gorgeous... But can it run? ABSOLUTELY! The car came to us stuffed with a 1967 Hemi engine, so we left it in there. Actually, no we didn't. We took it out, rebuilt it using every double-throw down piece we could think of and reinstalled it in a freshly decked bay. Today, the big V8 creates snarling 11 to 1 compression thanks to a full roller valvetrain from Indy Cylinder Head. There's a pair of Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors under a trick K&N air filter, which was CNC-whittled specifically for this application. A set of March pulleys, custom 6061 aluminum fastener bezels and a high efficiency, 2-core radiator add a bit of flash. That radiator is shrouded with a modern Charger logo - subtle, but effective. And finally, TTI long-tube headers dump spent gases into 3-inch TTI pipes and beefy Dynomax mufflers that make the car sound like an approaching thunderstorm. In a classic like this, an automatic transmission just doesn't work. So we upgraded to a bulletproof Tremec TKO600 5-speed. Combining a short 1st gear with a tall 5th gear overdrive, this set up allows the driver to enjoy the best of accelerating AND cruising. Power is transferred from a hydraulic clutch to a Dana 60 axle, which spins a limited slip differential around 3.55 gears. At the front of that drivetrain, a modified Firmfeel suspension mixes tubular control arms, Bilstein shocks and .5-inch lowering springs with adjustable strut rods, a 1.25-inch sway bar and urethane bushings. Out back, re-arched leaf springs, which drop the car an inch, perfectly complement a second pair of Bilsteins. Braking is better than even '70s race cars, with aluminum Wilwood calipers clamping 12-inch Wilwood discs at all four corners. And on the outside of those discs, '60s-inspired Coys spin 235/45ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force radials in front of 275/40ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force radials. We're big fans of Dodge's interior styling, so we chose to leave most of the components on the inside of this cruiser factory-correct. However, that doesn't mean stock, as even the color is a subtly different Charcoal Gray. Those are fully restored, original gauges sitting behind gorgeous BE/A bezels. The fresh door panels play host to fresh armrest bases and fresh door handles. The BE/A dash pad is close to perfect, matching a fresh console that's fitted with re-chromed top plates and a cool TKO Pistol Grip shifter. Fresh seat covers, fresh carpet and a fresh headliner complete the soft trim. There's a duo of vintage-looking Stewart Warner gauges mounted ahead of the aforementioned shifter, while the modern Kenwood stereo features a CD player and iPod interface. The wood steering wheel is a restored original. And a fully upholstered trunk creates the perfect foundation for an Optima gel cell battery. Well, what else is there to say? This Charger is as finely crafted as any street rod or custom, packs a walloping Hemi under its hood and is an absolute blast to drive. It's not over-the-top, but rather a subtle evolution of one of the most popular and potent cars Chrysler ever created. If that's your kind of fun, give us a call! The clock is officially ticking... The result is a one-year-only combination of modern "fuselage" styling and brute '60s-style horsepower. This impressive 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee is an authentic V-code/4-speed car that's been restored to a level seldom seen on newer muscle cars. And just in case you're wondering, here's the fender tag decode proving that this car is the real deal:WM23:Dodge Coronet, ChargerMedium2-Door HardtopV16: 440 cubic inch, 385 horsepower 3x2-barrel 8 cylinder1971Newark, DE, USA151691:Sequence numberE87: 440 cubic inch 3x2 barrel V8 (High Performance) 385 horsepowerD21: 4-Speed Manual TransmissionFY1: Top Banana Exterior ColorC6X9: Trim - Charger, Vinyl Bucket Seats, BlackTX9: Black / Formal Black Int. Applied over laser-straight bodywork and some of the most perfectly aligned panels I've ever seen, this is a seriously good-looking car. The long nose/short deck styling made popular with the pony cars translated well to the new Charger, and this one looks fast just sitting still. Loaded with all the eye-popping graphics available, including the longitudinal tape stripes and Super Bee graphic on the fully functional fresh air hood, there's no color combination more fitting for a car such as this. Add in the satin black deck lid mounted wing, the matching chin spoiler, and racy hood pins, and this car looks plenty aggressive, even if it didn't have a nasty 440 living underneath. The trim and bright work have been expertly restored as well. Note that this car carries the L37 hidden headlamps, which work as they should, as well as the fender-mounted turn signal indicators. The emblems are bright and crisp, including the 'Six Pack' callouts on the hood and Super Bee logos on the front fenders. As a link to the past, the tail lights are housed in an argent silver panel, and the two exhaust tips peek out of the rear valence in custom-fitted notches. Horsepower was still in fashion in 1971, and Chrysler was more than willing to serve it up for anyone who asked. Unfortunately, the same insurance premiums and gas price spikes that ultimately killed the big blocks limited customers. On the other hand, that makes cars like this one with its 385 horsepower 440 Six Pack engine and 4-speed manual transmission incredibly rare and valuable today. The engine bay is immaculately finished, and quite honestly, it's worlds nicer than it was even when it was new. The block glistens with bright Hemi Orange paint, the inner fenders have been finished to the same standards as the external bodywork, and the plated parts are shiny and clean. A fresh Richard Petty autograph lives beneath the bright 'Six Pack' logo on the massive air cleaner, and proper factory markings in places like the cylinder heads and firewall have been accurately duplicated. Little details like the painted ground cable, the correct wiper motor on the firewall, and the finish on the power brake booster all add credibility to the amazing restoration work. A correct 4-speed manual transmission remains behind the big block, and in true Mopar fashion, all the heavy duty gear was included. That means the transmission is a rugged 18-spline unit, and out back there's a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears on a Sure Grip limited slip, making this a car that cruises effortlessly at speeds that'll get you thrown in jail. The bottom of the car is as spotless as the top, with exceptional detailing visible throughout. Just look at the floors, which are finished so nicely you'll feel guilty if you don't wax them, and the properly painted suspension components that will bring home the big trophies. A new dual exhaust system with factory style mufflers and tips was installed, there's a new gas tank out back, and the power disc brakes have been fully rebuilt. And like the engine bay, you'll definitely be impressed by the details and how crisply executed they are, including all the brackets, fittings, and hoses that show bright plating and an authentic finish. Proving that good looks never go out of style, the Rallye wheels were carryover from the earlier cars, and they wear reproduction F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas tires at all four corners. The '71 Charger also received an all-new interior which, in typical Mopar fashion, was stylish and well-executed. With comfortable high-back bucket seats sporting fresh seat covers, a comprehensive dashboard that includes a 7,000 RPM tachometer, and upscale woodgrain appliqus that actually look quite convincing, it's a great place to spend a few hours listening to the music if the big block under the hood. Also note the leather-wrapped Tuff Wheel, the pistol-grip shifter, and the lack of a console-after all, this was still intended to be a budget supercar. The original and unique Music Master AM radio still lives in the dash, with both its knobs skewed to the left and the dial on the right, and a matching yellow Super Bee emblem has been fitted on the passenger's side. New door panels, a taut fitting headliner, and matching black Super Bee logo floor mats complete the interior appointments, making this a car that's ready to show or drive at almost any level. Even the trunk is beautifully finished, with more near-flawless Top Banana paint, a correct fitted mat, and a space-saver spare with complete jack assembly. When a classic is restored to this level, it's primed for show time. Naturally, this Charger's previous owner accumulated a variety of awards. Here's a detailed list of the plaques and trophies included with our sale:First at the 2013 AACA National Spring MeetSenior at the 2013 AACA National Fall MeetFirst Place in the 1971-74 Stock Dodge B-Body Class at the 2013 All Chrysler NationalsTim Wellborn's Celebrity Choice at the 2013 All Chrysler NationalsPetty Pick at the 2013 Ridgely Pharmacy Car and Motorcycle ShowParticipant's Choice at the 2013 Corvette Annapolis Car ShowBest Car at the 2013 GT ShowTop 35 at the 2013 Maryland Fall Car, Truck and Bike ShowParticipant at the 2013 Back To The Beach Custom Car and Truck Show Documentation includes the original owner's manual, emissions booklet, and warranty card. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1983 Dodge Shelby Charger 13,336 Actual Mile One Owner Shelby Charger 2.2L 4 Cylinder 5 Speed Survivor Year: 1983 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 13336 Transmission type: 5 Speed Manual Engine: 2.2 Liter 4 Interior color: Blue Vehicle info The early '80s could quite possibly be considered the dawn of compact performance. The good ole days of fire-breathing muscle cars were long gone, but enthusiasts still thrived. And a new generation of gearheads latched onto small, easy to own hatchbacks like this all-original Shelby Charger. The L-Body Charger, American style with a touch of international power, was a pretty rare car; and it made no qualms about catering directly to enthusiasts. Because of that, most of these global featherweights were whipped to an early grave by three or four different owners. And, as any '80s car fan will tell you, finding a Shelby Charger that's in good condition is becoming extremely difficult. Well, until now... This 13,336 actual mile coupe is an exceptional example of just that. Pampered and paraded its entire life, this Dodge is an impressive time capsule that'll transport you right back to the days when performance was more than just horsepower! The most significant piece of ample documentation, this MoPar's original window sticker breaks down as follows: STANDARD EQUIPMENTAccelerator pedal that features heel/toe capability335-amp maintenance-free batteryCarpeted interior and cargo areaCigarette lighterCoolant reservoirCorrosion protectionShelby decalsElectric cooling fanElectronic ignitionElectronic voltage regulatorFront wheel driveInterior hood releaseDual hornsHood insulationLighted ashtrayLocking glove boxMirrors- Day/night rearview mirror- Passenger's vanity mirror- Dual remote exterior mirrorsHeavy duty radiatorAM radioDeluxe seatbeltsSound insulationMultifunction steering column controlSport steering wheelPerformance transaxle- 2.78 final drive ratioDeluxe intermittent wipers OPTIONAL EQUIPMENTZS24: Dodge Shelby Charger 2-door hatchback ($00)- Heavy duty power front disc and rear drum brakes- Free-standing center arm rest- Rallye instrument panel that includes a tachometer, clock and trip odometer- Front storage console- Performance exhaust system that's complete with a bright oval tip- Tinted windows- Unique front fascia and bodyside skirts- Halogen headlamps- Power liftgate release- Rear spoiler- 14.1 quick-ratio power rack-and-pinion steering- Sport Special Handling Suspension- Special 15-inch cast aluminum wheels- PCA: Santa Fe Blue and Radiant Silver paint- S5AC: Dual reclining seats which wear cloth upholstery under Shelby logosD25: 5-speed manual transmission ($00)E68: 2.2 liter high performance 4-cylinder engine ($00)K2J: Tape graphics ($00)R35: AM/FM stereo ($109)U11: 195/50R15 steel-belted radials ($00) DELIVERED TO: Danville Chrysler Plymouth in Danville, IndianaVEHICLE PRICE: $8,290DESTINATION: $312OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT: $109MANUFACTURER'S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE: $8,711 By 1983, this Belvedere-built coupe had become an established player in America's re-invigorated compact car market. Eccentric gearheads knew if you wanted to look cool, you bought an L-Body. And if you wanted to look cool and go fast, you bought a Shelby L-Body. Averaging just over 430 miles per year, this pint-size MoPar appears to have rarely seen anything other than sunshine and warm summer days. A quick check of the car's undercarriage and suspension reveals no evidence of catastrophic rust or abuse. A quick check of the car's profile reveals its body has never seen any major repairs. And a quick check of our pictures confirms its original Santa Fe and Radiant Silver skin is both bright and glossy. That's right, even 31 years after it rolled out of the showroom this spry sports coupe is still a true head turner everywhere it goes! With its low window sills and 2.5-box proportions, this Shelby is a model of early '80s cool. At the front of the car, an aggressive, Shelby-designed air dam centers a black pentastar and clean "DODGE" script between clear parking lamps and bright halogen headlights. At the top of that dam, a sloped hood leads the eye to tinted and "SHELBY" branded glass that's flanked by small mirrors and aerodynamic C-pillar trim. At the base of that glass, a planar profile hangs black door handles and a body-matched fuel filler above straight Shelby stripes and pentastar-branded rocker extensions. And at the back of that profile, a dramatic Shelby spoiler frames clean tail lights, a full array of decklid emblems and an original dealer decal. In their effort to improve the Charger, Shelby and Chrysler did not overlook the car's mechanicals. They tweaked the engine, milling the block 0.030 inches to raise compression to 9.6 to 1. They changed the camshaft timing by advancing the cam a few degrees. They also made modifications to the 2.2 liter's electronic controls to extract optimum performance. Consequently, the Shelby powerplant develops 13 more horsepower and 10 more lb./ft. of torque than the standard Omni mill. These enhancements, plus a lower final drive ratio, make the car a tick quicker than the standard Charger and its early '80s competition. Specifically, the Shelby has a 0 to 60 time of 10 seconds flat and a 117MPH top speed. The engine compartment in this L-Body is mostly original and in great condition. And, decked in black and blue, it's as serious looking as the rest of the car, with just a hint of color here and there to add both texture and contrast. Shelby Chargers came standard with an A525 5-speed that feeds the front wheels. Holding that tossable drivetrain off the ground is an original Special Sports Suspension that utilizes shorter springs, stiffer shocks and correct power front disc and rear drum brakes to both lower the car and improve already responsive handling. At the center of that chassis, an original single-pipe exhaust system snakes spent gases through a factory-correct muffler. At the corners of that chassis, original 'pizza' wheels spin original 195/50R15 Goodyear Eagle GTs around locking lug nuts. And, still dressed in most of its blue overspray, this Charger is a clean, fully sorted survivor that's ready to hit the road as soon as it rolls out of our showroom! This coupe's tri-tone cockpit, which nicely complements its 2-tone exterior, shows hardly any signs of wear. The reclining seats keep you as comfortable for quick blasts of speed as they do during long road trips. In front of the driver, a pliable dash, which shows zero defects, is packed full of gauges that work exactly as they should. At the center of that dash, you'll find a correct AM/FM stereo. Between the aforementioned seats, crack-free consoles prop a black shifter on gray carpet that's protected by carpeted and color-keyed floor mats. At the sides of that carpet, factory door panels, which are typically faded and ballooned from heat, look good-as-new. And when you open the car's hatch, you'll find a clean cargo area that's showroom fresh in virtually every way. The sale of this small Dodge includes:A vintage dealer brochureAn original window stickerAn original owner's manualOriginal warranty and accessory booklets. An original New Vehicle Preparation checklistOriginal paperwork for the car's rust proofing and cassette radioOriginal keys and key tagsAn original Title ApplicationOriginal registrations from '83-86An original temporary tagA vintage Hot Rod Magazine AdAn emissions recall letter from 1990A memo pad of service recordsA pamphlet for the Shelby Dodge Automobile Club Whenever we post unique, low mileage survivors, they sell almost immediately. A whole generation of buyers grew up with these endearing coupes. And since they're becoming increasingly scarce, the good ones get snapped up as quickly as they hit the market. If you're an enthusiast who likes to put their hardware on the road, few classics deliver this blend of exclusivity and practicality. And with only 13,336 original miles, this is one MoPar that'll have you smiling every time you slide behind its wheel! [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee Award Winning Charger Superbee 440 Six Pack 4 Speed Dana 60 3.54 Year: 1971 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Yellow Mileage: 458 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 440 V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info When the Charger was redesigned in 1971, it took the Super Bee with it. The muscle car era wasn't quite over in 1971, and the guys at Dodge definitely didn't get the memo. This rare V-code 440 Six Pack Super Bee rightfully belongs in a collection that includes vaunted machines like a Hemi 'Cuda and a Super Bird. Thanks to a no-expenses-spared restoration that shows just a few off-trailer miles since it was completed, it's also a turn-key investment opportunity that can compete at the Mopar Nationals. If you've been looking for something fast, rare, and just plain cool, you can scarcely do better than this Super Bee! Of course, perfecting that formula takes a rare combination of time, talent and vision, and this stunning Charger 500 is one of the lucky classics backed by all three. The beneficiary of a professional, ground-up restoration, this brutal road warrior is a no-holds-barred custom that's ready to parade the show field and dominate the stoplight. Every piece of the car has been carefully crafted with equal emphasis on performance and aesthetics. And if you're looking for an exhilarating way to enjoy a sunny summer weekend, its Street Wedge V8, Tremec 5-speed and Ridetech suspension are all happy to oblige! After spending most of its life as a blue-collar driver, this awesome Charger was the perfect starting point for an outrageous, ground-up restoration that mixed a killer Indy big block with classic Mopar attitude. The car's exceptionally solid body was stripped to bare metal and fitted with high quality replacement panels that, thanks to a thorough block-sanding, form a virtually flawless profile. Once that profile was completely clean and fully prepped, deep PPG Black was detailed with red war paint and sealed under a silky clearcoat. And the result is a positively evil muscle car that tempers an old school, no-nonsense demeanor with new age panache! There's just something about a broad-shouldered Dodge that appeals to pretty much everyone. Whether it's 'wow factor', a sense of strength or simple surface detailing, this coupe's hard-edged, modernist panels convey classic Chrysler charm via clean and monochromatic aesthetics. At the front of the car, a prominent, body-width grille hangs a sporty "SRT8" emblem inside hidden headlights, amber parking lamps and bright chrome trim. Above that grille, a scalloped hood leads the eye to like-new glass, shaved wipers and bright stainless trim. At the sides of that hood, a faceted profile hangs shaved doors and clean fenders in front of a bright 'pit stop' fuel filler. And at the back of the car, wide tail lights frame a second "SRT8" emblem, a second body-width bumper and bright reverse lamps. What do you do when you have a sweet Mopar muscle car that needs a heart transplant? You call the fine folks at Indy Cylinder Head and order something akin to this Charger's 500 cubic inch Street Wedge V8! Thanks to its balanced rotating assembly, Eagle 4340 crank, Eagle H-beam rods, Comp hydraulic cam and Wiseco 10.75 to 1 pistons, this Dodge moves to the tune of 630 horsepower and 575 lb./ft. of torque. At the top of the brand new block, a K&N X-Stream air cleaner forces wind into an 850 Holley carburetor and dual-plane Indy intake. At the sides of that intake, Indy 440-EZ-1 heads hang high quality roller rockers and slick aluminum valve covers over impressive, long-tube headers. At the front of those headers, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor sequences spark between an MSD Blaster 2 coil, MSD 6AL ignition and black Taylor plug wires. At the front of those wires, a polished serpentine system rides behind a big aluminum radiator and two Flex-a-Lite puller fans. And aesthetically, the Hemi Orange mill provides an excellent contrast to the car's sleek Black fenders; with details like a fresh Optima battery, snazzy Fesler hinges, a Wilwood master cylinder and a proven Melling oil pump cementing its status as a well-blended piece of timeless mechanical art. Like its slick exterior and clean engine bay, the bottom of this Dodge is a great combination of both past and present. Behind the powerful Indy, a new Tremec TKO600 5-speed, which wears a sturdy QuickTime bellhousing, twists thrust to a rugged Chrysler rear end. Inside that pumpkin, a familiar Sure Grip differential spins around beefy, 3.91 gears. That awesome drivetrain rides on an independent front and triangulated rear suspension, which mixes modern power steering with Ridetech StrongArm control arms and a Ridetech RidePro air system. Stops come courtesy of Wilwood, which utilizes bright red calipers to squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors. The aforementioned headers push charred dinosaurs through 3-inch pipes and great sounding Flowmasters. And power hits the pavement via gorgeous Billet Specialties 5-spokes, which spin 225/45ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 285/40ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. This coupe's frame and floors are rock-solid, displaying no signs of rust or serious weathering. Yes, in typical Mopar fashion, those floors are over-restored to match the car's sinister body. And everything, from its fresh fuel tank and Milodon oil pan to its spotless fluid lines and RobbMc mini starter, is fully sorted and ready to roll! Swivel this Charger's solid-closing doors and you'll find a substantially modified interior that's mixes classy tan leather with textured black vinyl. The front bucket and rear bench seats are covered in showroom-fresh hides that display small "SRT" logos. Below those seats, premium carpet centers color-keyed mats on a billet accelerator pedal and pristine stainless sills. At the sides of that carpet, sculpted doors anchor Clayton hardware and 5.25-inch speakers below "Charger" branded frames. In front of those panels, a clean dash hangs white-face telemetry and a prominent "SRT DESIGN" badge above a 7-inch Kenwood head unit. Below that dash, a custom console centers a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter inside a stylish, driver-oriented contour. In front of the driver, a Billet Specialties Outlaw spins around a polished tilt steering column. And behind the passengers, a custom package tray founds two 5x7 speakers over two JL Audio amplifiers and two JL Audio subwoofers This incredible Charger's sale includes a cam card, component manuals and specs for its brand new Indy engine. The resto-mod mindset is all about replacing traditional compromise with modern capability. With its fresh V8, quick-shifting 5-speed and thoroughly upgraded suspension, this Dodge annihilates any complaints regarding performance or cruising. And the addition of air conditioning, a modern sound system and custom leather trimmings merely sweetens the deal. Built for the most discerning muscle car fans on the planet, this Charger is the perfect opportunity to bask in the spoils of owning a fresh, world class classic. And all without endless vendor calls, waiting on fab guys, hassling bankers and dealing with a disgruntled spouse. Don't miss the chance to park this coupe in your garage!
