The reason for this is the car was previously stolen but recovered undamaged. The insurance company paid out on the stolen claim before the car was recovered. Once this happens it is required by law that the car is now listed as salvaged on the title. Unfortunately this lowers the cost of the vehicle even if it is undamaged as in this cars case. I have the Carfax report which list "0" accidents on this car and I have another report proving that the airbags on this car have never been deployed.
