Garage kept: The car has had two owners. I have a journal from the previous owner that addresses all of the work done on the car. I have only had the car for about a year so I have only had the oil changed once (it is a more of a weekend car but at one point I was driving it daily for about a month. I am not certain of the exact details of the car, but I am selling the car as-is. The car runs perfectly, and I have added as many details as I can based on what can be seen on the car, but these following details are what is recorded in the journal the previous owner gave me.The original owner was from Texas who purchased the car from a dealer in Louisiana in 1972. In 1974, the previous owner before me purchased the car and kept it since I bought it in 2013. It seems he had taken good care of the car based off all of the work he has done on it; however, I am not certain of the accuracy of the journal because in two years, the milage went up about 50,000 miles; however you decide what you think. The paint is not stock, however, and the engine, carburetors, and transmission were once overhauled in 1981, in which the engine block was bored 0.5mm and given new pistons, pins. In 1982 the car was given a new distributor. In 1983 new shocks were added. The car is not exactly 100% original, but you can see for yourself if you want more details I have in the journal; however, I am very sure that the paint and the radio (which does not work, but I also have the original) are not stock. -The car has been in Georgia the majority of its life. -It drives perfectly, but there is one rust spot on the rear, passenger-side fender, but it is not major (it has not eaten through the metal, and I feel that it can simply be sanded off). -The clutch may need replacing in the next 5k-10k miles (it is in good condition, but I feel that it does not deliver the potential power from the engine). -The key cylinder to turn the key may be a little glitchy. To turn the key I have to slightly pull the key out and push downwards. I think that this is normal, but I am not sure. Once I figured it out, I would rarely have a problem turning the key like any other car. -All the gauges work except for the clock, and the fuel gauge is a little off center (a full tank shows up as about half). The driver seat may need some stitching because the seams have come out, but the seat is not torn. -There is no other rust except what I mentioned on the fender (unless you count the slight marks of discoloration that may be found on the undercarriage). There is a small crack in the center of the dash and the paint is about 7/10 (it is chipped in a few areas, and is cracked a little on the hood. -The wiper motor is broken. It was once rebuilt, but a common fix is swapping the wiper motors from 1990's Hondas. I have never really needed to use the wipers because I do not drive the car in the rain (except for maybe a slight drizzle now and then). -The seams of the leather that covers the handbrake have come out. -I only have one of the original mats (passenger-side). -The weather strips keeping out the rain have lost their adhesive. -The plastic below the rear hatch inside the car is a little damaged (the small holes and cracks) -This car has never been abused (and anyone who has this car probably has enough common sense not to drive it roughly even though they can be). I never leave it sitting for more than two weeks (I usually take it out at least once a week). -The radio which is currently in the car is not stock, but I have the original along with many service record, maintenance, etc. -I usually keep the car under 3500 rpm's (average of ~2800), but after 4000 rpm's, the engine makes a screeching sound, so I think the oil seals may need to be replaced, but I'm no mechanic. -The A/C works, but I never really use it because I like to drive with the windows down on a warm summer day. -The milage is correct; however, it may slightly change as I am taking the car out now and then just to keep it from sitting, but I imagine that by the time someone buys it, it will still be under 96,600 miles. This car has never been completely restored, and it is almost 100% stock. Im selling this car (along with all the manuals, brochures, service records, and extra goodies that the previous owner gave me) because I want to have a fun car that I can drive everyday without worrying about warming it up in the morning, and have more than one other person sit with me. It has been a fun car to drive, and I hope the new owner enjoys it at least as much as I have. Feel free to message me with any questions or for more pictures if you want anything specific; I will usually respond ASAP. Thanks,Syed
