Up for sale is a 1973 Datusn 240z 4 speed set up for autocross but still fully street legal. The car runs and drives perfect and has lots of power. Transmission shifts smoothly thorough all the gears. Suspension feels tight and handles great. Adjustable coil-overs all around with lowering springs. Just installed an upgraded r200 rear end with a 3.545:1 ratio. Car completely rebuilt less then 850 miles ago. 3.0 L28 N42 block with E88 head, triple Weber carbs (worth a couple thousand on their own), .525 lift 310/302 cam, JE pistions, worked crankshaft and carillo rods. New radiator, ignition, fuel pump and battery. Custom headers and exhaust. The body is extremely solid and is in excellent condition with a couple minor dents and bubbles (see additional photo link below for details). Carbon fiber bumpers on both the front and back. Vinyl racing decals can be easily removed with solvent and a little elbow grease if not to your liking. Floor pans appear to have been replaced but feels solid. Interior has been stripped for weight savings. Corbeau bucket seats and G-Force 5 point safety harness have been installed for both driver and passenger seats. Autometer tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, fuel level, volt meter gauges and shift light have been installed. Dash is in good shape except for one small crack behind shift light. Currently siting on aftermarket 17" rims with relatively new Falken AZENIS AT615 225/45R17's with good tread (spare is brand new). Also have stock wheels which I will include in auction. There are two small chips in windshield that are hardly noticeable. Up for sale is a 1974 Datsun 260z. No rust as its been a California car all it's life. Not too many of these still out there without rust...esp in NY. I purchased it and had it shipped from San Francisco, CA last year. Everything is documented in a binder from 1974. Car is garaged and has not seen the winter. Reason for sale is to get cash for downpayment on a home. 58,xxx miles on an RB20DET engine. Inline 6 cylinder turbocharged engine professionally swapped by Innovative Tuning in Buffalo, NY. This is a big upgrade from the stock engine which was also an inline 6 that was 2.6L on carburetors. The RB20DET was used in Nissan Skylines in Japan. My goal was to preserve the beautiful body of the S30, but upgrade to a more modernized engine that could drive right after starting while preserving the Nissan spirit. Many other parts not in pics will come with the car including the rear fiberglass bumper (unpainted 240Z style). a 1978 black pearl edition. as the years go on these cars have been getting harder and harder to find. the black pearl marked the end of the z car line just prior to the zx line which were starting to be produced in june of 1978. this car is a very late may 1978 production making it one of the very LAST Z cars ever made. although i do not know the vin of the last one , the very late production of this car does make it last or near last z car ever made.approximately 800 were originally produced, and 1 was given to each dealership as a showcase car. current registration statistics estimate that less than 200 still exist, so this car is very quickly becoming extinct.this car marked the first time z cars were produced in black. it had some alloy wheels and unique stripping and was color code 638. these cars do have some historical significance. this car is a matching number- 5 speed with ac which is cold. the car had been sitting for some time , it is originally from south carolina so it did not see much snow or sale. a car this age we cannot verify the mileage. the car does start up and runs very smoothly. the brakes are low. the car is 99% complete missing a knob , i have the window handle just needs the clip. floors are very good no rotted areas. almost rust free andbody is good but does have a couple of areas of minor blistering. really could use a paint job but not much else. not a show car but would be one with very minimal effort-which was my intention, but too many projects at the moment so its being sacrificed.this is a very nice opportunity for a rare z car. really
