By the late 1960s Nissan had begun work in-house on a new sports car designed specifically with American drivers in mind. With superb styling, it became an instant hit and automotive icon. It was equipped with a 150 horsepower 2.4-liter single overhead camshaft straight-six cylinder, independent suspension and disc brakes. The 240Z was on par with or even superior to many of the best sports cars of the period. This 240Z was restored in the early 1990’s for and then housed in the collection of well known collector Mr. L. Noto and later Mr. P. Livanos (owner of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. at the time), it was used in sparingly given the size and amount of automobiles in the their collective/collection. In 1995 it was sold to its most recent owner, another well-known Connecticut collector where it has been housed and once again used sparingly due to the size of his collection. It has therefore accumulated few miles since its restoration, but has been serviced and maintained regardless of use and cost. It is complete with its original engine and gearbox and is in its original color. It is absolutely exceptional throughout, complete with its original owner’s manual, even the air conditioning is working well and blows extremely cold.A wonderfully present and maintained 240Z with excellent provenance, you will be hard pressed to find a better example.
