Up for sale is my 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. Car does need some work but is a complete driver car. Do not let the high mileage concern you because this motor runs stronger than most of these late body style C3's. Transmission shifts beautifully and the car drives as it should. Sounds awesome upgraded cam, aftermarket headers and full flow master exhaust. Paint is very good for its age, however there are chips and scratches and cracks in the paint here and there. Interior needs work: Steering wheel, horn button, no radio, both door panels are ripped, carpet has a hole in the back behind the battery door as shown in the picture, passenger seat is good on bottom but top part needs to be finished, and drivers seat has seen its better days, all gauges in the center dash are not functioning. Windows are loose on the tracks because they are missing the felt in the inside door panels. They go up and down with switch but sometimes need a little boost to stay on the track. Wipers work just have to play with the switch. Lights do not go up and down with the switch but they do turn on my guess is a vacuum leak. A/C doesn't work because it is missing the belt. This corvette just simply needs some TLC and a loving owner to take care of her. The important ares on this car are there. The motor runs extremely well and the car is a reliable driver. Frame is SOLID with no rust or rot. Don't bother with offers under 4K. Thanks for checking out the car.
