Only 2000 of the 2008 Models were built and most not sent to the U.S. !Purchased this 2008 6spd Limited coupe new at the end of 2009. Over half of the total miles were during the first 6 months when I drove 80 miles per day 7 days per week to work. It's been garage kept ever since and rarely taken out. Apart from the first 6 months it hasn't even seen rain ! Still has new car smell. You won't find a better one out there. Original sticker shows $38700 . Only one small rash spot on the passenger front rim that you have to look for otherwise like new (Shown in one pic ). 25,600 miles , lifetime warranty on the Llumar Platinum Charcoal legal window tint , a nice Panasonic CD player with brushed aluminum trim was installed the first month and matches the dash really well . These cars have virtually no mechanical issues and the factory gave a lifetime power train warranty , but they do have several small trim issues that are common and these have already been addressed .3M clear protection film was applied to the headlights within the 1st few months to prevent hazing , these lights are still perfectly clear ! A new headliner was recently installed due to the fabric drooping in some areas.The dealer also repainted the windshield trim and installed a new grill due to paint pitting. An oil change and new tires were just installed a few hundred miles back as well as a new battery. This car NEEDS Nothing ! Built in Germany at the Karmann plant . The Crossfire is simply a Mercedes SLK class with a Karmann designed body.The last Crossfire rolled off of the assembly line on December 17, 2007.
