What can I say about the flagship of the Mercedes Benz automobiles? If you are looking then you already know that this naturally aspirated 500 + Hp coupe is arguably the high water mark for high performance European Grand Touring coupe's. Original MSRP $151,000 ++ I am listing this for a friend that is in and out of the country and really doesn't have the time to deal with the sale. That said; after this weekend you'd be welcome to schedule independent inspection's and he will be available post at that time. The car is in NY state near Buffalo. This particular CL is a near perfect ( minor flaw in picture # 10 ). He purchased it from MB in Las Vegas July 2009 but DOES have existing warranty through MB extended until July 29, 2016. My friend has since been re-located and that is the only reason that he is selling it as it doesn't fit his needs living in Niagra. The owner is a multi MB/Porsche owner and a non-smoker. The vehicle is only MB maintained and It has a clean 1 owner, no accident car fax. It's never been painted, touched up, dyed or.......nor does it need to be except (see pic #10) Look through my feedback and buy with confidence. It's not filled with $5-$10 junk. I've sold many of my own personal boats, cars and some high end watches. I sincerely try to describe as if I am the buyer. I am selling this for a friend. Except for the flaws mentioned above, this is simply a really nice 2 owner,no smoking adult owned . Look at the flawless history on carfax. Everything works as it should with no warning lights, no unusual noises, smoke... Suspension is excellent and never drops. The interior has no rips tears or unsightly wear. It's a strong 9. The car runs as it did 15 years ago and seems to be currently in need of nothing. Goes down the road super smooth at any speed, brakes extremely well with out shudder or shimmy. I noticed in one of the picture it looks like there are chips at the base of the hood. That is glue residue from a clear bra that was removed. This is a 2 owner GT3. Mildly tracked twice a year in PCA events. The owner since 2008, when I sold it, is an adult , non smoking male in his 70's and has owned Porsche's for the large part of his adult life. Fanatically serviced including brake fluid flushes every year. The vehicle does have a minor car fax indicator, minor in the fact that the only thing on the car that may have been painted is the rear bumper cover. I measured all the paint on all metal panels and they all show to be factory spec. It's worded as such: Impacted with another motor vehicle, minor damage, scratches to rear bumper. The exterior of the vehicle is an 8.5 - 9 out of 10 only for the reason of very minor road rash in front of the rear wheels (below where the ston guard ends.) I can have repaired at our Porsche repair shop but would prefer to disclose prior. The interior is a flat out 10 and the only thing that the car wasn't born with is the Porsche O.E.M roll bar. Approximately 2 years ago, the engine developed a dead miss. It was determined that #2 cylinder was very lean and damaged that cylinder. After weeks of deliberation with Porsche, their preference was not to tear down the motor and chose to give him an entire long block less accessories as in the alternator, ps pump.... This happened approximately 3400 miles ago. It was a fresh motor from Porsche. No used junk. The Michelin Pilots are better than 60% . The brakes also are in excess of 50-60% and stop with out shudder, shimmie or fade. at ANY speed. The OEM wheels are perfect and free of any damage or previously repaired damage.
