1970 GTO Convertible 455H.O... PHS documented.... This is a 1 owner car bought new in Gaithersburg M.D at King Pontiac on 12-28-1969 the husband past away and the widow sold the car to a old friend of the family who had no Idea how to work on a car. Fortunately he only had it for a week and never transferred the title. I bought it from him and the title is still in the original owners name and I have the original owners manual and warranty book with their name and dealership on it that verifies ownership. After the husband passed away the car sat for some time and the widow lost the keys. I had a new key made and now have gotten the car running. The car has 65,475 miles on the odometer but the title reads except, we believe it to be the actual miles. The car has a replacement 455 block casting #485428 with original heads. The original intake manifold is inside the trunk the one on the car is a Edelbrock aluminum high rise. The M21 4 speed and 12 bolt rear 3:31 gear are original from what I can tell. The car has lots of options, power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, AC, power top just to name a few. The color is Atoll Blue with Sandalwood interior. The interior is original and in great shape for being 45 years old. The body has had new quarters at some point and floor pans welded in from the top they did not cut out the old ones. The paint is old and it will need redone as you can see in the pictures, there are some small bubbles, scrapes and chips etc. The top needs a new cover but bows look good and the motor works but has air in the lines from sitting so it will need new fluid and flushed out and it should be fine. The power windows are working but drivers glass went down but wont go back up. I can hear the motor working so its most likely just the switch. The rear windows started moving but I did not want to get them stuck as they need to be greased. There is some rust in the radiator support and some in the passenger corner of the frame not structural at all just a small spot on the inner side corner under the passenger fender. The hood support looks like it was cut and re-welded I don't know why? The doors shut nice and tight and there is no rust under the front windshield. The hood latch is broken so you have to put your hand inside the grill and pull it hard to open. I had to use a vise grip to pull it down. The electrical system is in good shape signals, headlights speedometer and are all working. The original Tach stopped working and was replaced with aftermarket. The motor is running good, no smoke and no noises, but will need a good tune up and oil change. I would also drain the gas tank and put new gas in. I added new gas but you can smell its got old gas in there. The trunk area looks very nice and clean with some original spatter paint. I drove the car down the road it shifted through all 4 gears very nice and smooth and did not pop out of gear. The brakes are working but it does pull a little from sitting. The car really deserves a full restoration and is well worth doing as the car's book value is through the roof, or just repaint it and put new top and drive it. 2003 VW Jetta TDI with and 5 speed manual transmission for parts. This was a great car and I loved it but I got pushed in to a wall on the highway.This car ran great and and the ALH engine. It got over 50mpg on the highway. The lower end was rebuilt about 40,000 miles ago. Timing belt about 30,000 miles ago and turbo was rebuilt 25,000 miles ago. Always ran on synthetic oil.Lots of great parts. If someone were to part this car out they could do well.

Beautiful 1991 Corvette with low miles.Car runs and drives great. We enjoy owning and driving it.We do not want to sell, but we have to bring another car into the household for work and live in an HOA neighborhood with restrictions and limited parking. We do not have room for an additional car. We bought this car just for casual enjoyment earlier this year. We wanted one with a good foundation so we searched for one with low miles. Most of them out there have high miles or are priced between ten to fifteen thousand dollars.The previous owner had this car for many years and had only drove it 500 miles in the last 6.5 years. Before we bought it the previous owner had the following repairs done.- New Fuel Injectors- New Battery- New AC filter/drier unit- One new tire Since we have owned the car we have completed the following maintenance.- Coolant Flush- New spark plugs- New Kenwood Stereo Deck with CD, USB, Bluetooth, and DVD.- Replaced one Bose Speaker amplifier.- New cooling fan temp switch.- Mobil 1 Motor Oil and Filter- New bushings in both flip-up headlights. This is a normal maintenance for these cars as the bushings wear out and then the headlight motor does not stop on time. - New wiper blades THE PRISTINE 1991 CORVETTES WITH LOW MILES LIKE THIS ONE ARE AVAILABLE FOR 10-15 THOUSAND DOLLARS ON EBAY. Please do not expect that as I am listing this with full disclosure so you can accurately assess. We consider this car very nice driver quality. It looks beautiful, but you do not have to worry about every little scuff or scratch happening if you park it somewhere because it has some flaws as most twenty-five year old cars do. THE PAINT HAS A HANDFUL OF SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS THAT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP. Maybe half a dozen with a few longer scratches as pictured. The car looks beautiful going down the road or from ten feet away, but when you get close you will see some paint defects and touch-ups.I have attached pictures of the defects for your review, but just as you don't notice them from ten feet away they also do not show up that great in the pictures. The two biggest or most noticeable defects up close are a scratch around the antenna hole and a couple of vertical scratches just behind the drivers door handle.There is a smaller repair right above and behind the front drivers wheel and there is a small 2-3" spider web just off of the passenger front corner where it meets the front nose cone.There is a few other small ones that are harder to spot. Just giving full disclosure here. The car is beautiful and still has its shine. The paint does not suffer from fade.This car is believed to be original paint with no accidents. ITEMS THAT WILL NEED REPLACEMENT OR CARE: - One tire is new, three will need to be replaced. Those three tires have lots of rubber left on them, but are old from age due to the low mileage/not getting driven.- The Glass Targa top Clear Coat has dried up. This is common at this age. You can leave it alone or get it restored. There are companies that sand down the glass and then apply a new clear coat to the tinted top if you desire it to be pristine. It was fine for me and does not affect the function of the top. I tried to catch it in a picture, but it will not show.- The power seat tracks are due for rebuild. You have to kind of wiggle up and down as you hold the power button for it to move back and forward. Very common on these cars. You can buy rebuilt Power seat tracks for about $225.00 each or do what I planned to and order a couple of used manual Corvette seat tracks at $50.00 each.- The car needs a new weather strip kit. the weather strips are dry and cracking in some spots due to age. The rear hatch one has shrunk some it appears. These kits are available for $300-400.00 on eBay. AGAIN - JUST TO REPEAT. I AM AN HONEST SELLER AND TRYING TO DISCLOSE EVERYTHING TO YOU. This is a beautiful car at a great price with low miles. If you are looking for a driver quality Corvette, this one is at a great price.
