At Carstore we are proud to offer this fabulous Chevrolet El Camino Super Sport. This real deal SS was purchased new from Tom Barr Chevrolet in Clinton Iowa on November 3,1971. We have the original Retail Order, copy of the money order w/receipt, and the original protect-o-plate. It is great to be able to offer a classic/muscle car with good documentation. The odometer currently reads 9,434, but this does not represent the actual miles and the title is exempted due to the year of the car. This El Camino SS was just traded to us on a "Barn Find" Gasser! The owner had it for the last ten years. Before he purchased the car it had been repainted and a new vinyl top was installed. It also had a custom fit "pop-up" type bed cover installed that works perfectly and is sharper and much easier to use than the "snap on" covers you see on most older camino's. This cover will allow you to haul all those lawn chairs and coolers to your local car show's and cruise nites. The exterior color on this El Camino is Mohave Gold with Black accent Super Sport Striping. The exterior body and paint on this Classic is very nice. I would give it at least a 8 of 10. The body is straight and the paint is smooth and has a excellent shine and it is a super color combination. The only minor fault is a small rust bubble UNDER the vinyl roof (see pic), this is to be expected on a older restoration. The final compliment to the exterior appearance is the correct 15" X 7" Steel 5-Spoke Rallye wheels with jazzy white lettered tires. The black vinyl interior appears to be original and in good condition. I would give the interior a 7 of 10. It's nice, clean, comfortable, and all original. Even the spare tire is in the correct original position. This 1972 El Camino has a 165 horsepower 350 cubic inch engine with a turbo hydra matic transmission. Here is a sought after classic/muscle car with the original bill of sale and the protect-o-plate. The El Camino is not necessarily a show car, but it is certainly a ABOVE AVERAGE driver quality car. The paint and interior are well above average and the El Camino drives out great. Priced below $20,000.00 this is a fine example of a popular body style that is still affordable and fun to drive. Note that the El Camino was Ziebart Rustproofed (see inside door pic) which has kept this classic in great condition since new. Welcome to this listing for a Remarkable 1970 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe. This amazing representation of a high quality luxury vehicle was just traded to us from by the third owner of the car who had it in storage for the last 14 years. It is truly a rare find and it is in original unmolested condition. The total production of the 1970 Cadillac Eldorado was only 23,842. How many of these gorgeous cadillac's can possible be left? This one even has the Factory original owners manual. The miles showing on the odometer are 98,004 and are believed to be the actual miles on the Cadillac Eldorado, although the title currently is exempt from an odometer statement. The powerplant is the 8.2 Litre V-8 with engine code S. It produces 400 horsepower at 4400 rpm, and 550 FT LBS of torque at 3300 rpm. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and properly. Of course the Cadillacs come with an abundance of options including Power Steering - Power Assist Disc Brakes - Power Windows - Power Door locks - Tilt Steering - Cruise Control (not working) - Air Conditioning with Climate Control - Front Wheel Drive - and AM-FM radio with factory under dash 8 track tape player. The body and paint on the Eldorado are in extremely good condition as this Luxury Cruiser was kept inside. You will notice a minor surface rust just behind the rear window (shown in the photos) and some minor flaking on the door (also shown in the photos), still in great shape for a 45 year old car. The interior is in remarkably good condiion. You can see wear on the seats which is to be expected of a car this age. If Cadillacs are your thing and you have been searching for an affordable example of a clean car, and one that is original you are on the right ad. Final thought on the Eldorado. You could say this is a "Barn Find" which seems to automatically bring up the value just by the mention of the words. Yet, this Cadillac was driven on rare occasion. It is respectable and drivable in current condition or would make a super candidate for a restoration. On a scale from 1 to 10 overall it probably resides in the 7 range. It is just a great example of a loved and well cared for car. It's kinda like going back in time to about 1979 and stopping by your local Cadillac dealer and looking for a used luxury car and this would be the one they show you.
