Thank you for taking the time to learn about this rare Corvette roadster. In 1963, only 21,513 Corvettes were made. About half of those were roadsters. And out of all the roadsters, less than 2000 had the 250 HP engine. Less than 300 roadsters came with the Daytona Blue paint and a .355 positraction rear axle. This rare 1963 roadster has all the options listed above, but what makes it particularly rare is this car has not been restored. The original inspection markings, build number (marked on the fiberglass with a crayon) and other factory markings are as this Corvette came from the factory. Not someones idea of what they think it should look like. As the photo's show, most of the markings remain in the car. Note the VIN number tag. The original VIN tag was spot welded to the bird cage. In the beginning, the spot welds where made through the paint, which made the attachment weak. Many times the tags would fall off. Not long into production, the paint was ground off the area where the VIN tag was attached, making the spot weld adhere. If the VIN tag has paint in the area were is was originally placed, is the tag original? At a minimum, it is not attached in the original fashion. Note the photo of the VIN tag, the paint is clearly ground away. This is the exact, original factory installation. Also note the engine pad (VIN number followed by F0I29RC) has the correct and original stampings and broach marks. Its originality is supported by numerous NCRS Top Flight Awards (the latest in 2007) and a Founders Award. I rarely drive the car, only enough to exercise it and keep it in top mechanical condition. And less than 500 miles since the 2007 Top Flight. So, the Top Flights are representative of the cars current condition. This Corvette runs and handles like a dream. I would not hesitate to take it on a road trip. Since it does get driven, it does show some wear. Minor chipping in the paint and light wear inside. But as you can see, the paint has been well taken care of. All the gages work, including the clock. It is an early 63, so it has the AM radio with the wonderbar signal seeker which also works as original. This, with all the original pieces (to many to list - the picture of the original T3 headlights is an example), make this a truly rare and unique investment. Not seen in the pictures is the white top. Also unique is this is a soft top only car. Please contact me for additional information. Cash or Bank Check Only. In the case of a bank or cashiers check, no possession can be taken until the funds clear. Buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping and any other fees and taxes.

1963 Corvette Roadster for Sale In 1963, Chevrolet produced 21,513 of the first year “Stingray” Corvettes. Out of those produced, 10919 were convertibles (roadster) or about 50.2%. About 3,870 of the total cars produced had the base 327 with 250 HP engine. Out of all the Corvettes produced in 1963, only 3475 were painted Daytona Blue or about 8%. When you consider the Daytona Blue paint with the rare 250 HP engine in the convertible model, only about 300 of the total Corvettes had this combination. I am offering this rare, original 250 HP, Daytona Blue Corvette to qualified buyers. This Corvette has received numerous NCRS Top Flight Awards and was the first Corvette from Colorado to win the NCRS Founders Award. Many say, “numbers matching”. But that does not always mean “original”. This Corvette is both. There is so much of the car that is original, it is too lengthy to mention. For example, besides the engine, it still has the original inspection marks on the tie rod ends. The original daily build number is still visible on the fiberglass. It has original T3 headlights and the list goes on. Every part of the car is in working order, including the original clock. Some say for a car to be a “survivor”, it must have 50% of the original parts. If this is true, this Corvette is a truly a survivor. If you know Corvettes or if your looking for a great investment that can be driven and enjoyed, this very rare, un-restored original car may be just what you are looking for. The car will be shown by appointment only. Only a Certified check or cash will be accepted. The buyer will pay all taxes, shipping and any others fees associated with this transaction.
