Looking for a nice classic convertible ......1965 Ford Thunderbird This car has been restored pretty much back to the original condition........Lots of Blood, Sweat, and $$$$$$$ went to get this car to look and run as it did the day it was built. I have invested over $42,000.00 in this car and have all receipts but now it has to go ....priced to move it to new owners......priced at $27,900.00 OR BEST OFFER Sorry no trades.......make me an offer.Vehicle has been restored over the last 7 years. Refinished in base and clear. Powered by the original 390 cid motor that has been completely rebuilt. New pistons, rods, crank, cam, timing chain, heads rebuilt, engine bored .030, and many more new parts. Original rebuilt Cruise-o-Matic transmission. Power steering pump is new, power windows, power brakes and aftermarket A/C but still comes through the original vents. All brand new exhaust, brake lines, brakes, ball joints, tie rod ends, front and rear springs have been redone, new shocks, new fuel tank and rebuilt original rear end. As you can see in some of the pictures the interior chrome parts are all original with some pitting, scratches and dings. The mileage shows 75,375 on the odometer but I have no idea how many miles were actually on the car before restoring it. Exterior includes re-chromed bumpers front and rear, replacement mirrors, new tires, original spinner 1965 Thunderbird hubcaps and replacement fender turn markers New convertible top including power unit and hoses. Rebuilt flip lid motor, some new relays. Interior includes recovered seats, new carpet, new floor mats, aftermarket steering wheel, the door panels are the original ones and each of the arm rests have bad spots. Replacement (fit in stock openings) AM/FM Cassette stereo and speakers. Tilt away steering column. I could go on and on with everything else that has been replaced but like I mentioned above i have receipts for everything. Just recently the speedometer started working erratically and the low fuel light has quit but the gauge works fine. If you would like to see more photos of particular items please let me know.
