Up for sale is a 2004 BMW M3 Convertible in absolutely amazing condition. Many consider this version of the M3, with its inline-6 engine mated to a manual transmission, to be the best ever made. The car is in really impressive shape; it's been pampered, and it shows. Maintenance has been performed often, and only by BMW dealers. It has always been garage-kept, and never raced or used on the track. The exterior and interior are gorgeous, and the engine runs perfectly. Factory special features on the vehicle include the cold weather package, xenon headlights, a Harman-Kardon sound system, and aluminum interior trim. The car is 100% stock, and has only been maintained with OEM BMW parts. All of the vehicle's systems work flawlessly. There are no warnings or codes thrown by the dashboard. The engine runs smoothly and powerfully, and the clutch and gearbox feel great. The retractable top is in near-mint condition, and functions reliably. All suspension components are tight and aligned, and keep you glued to the road. The interior is in superb shape, and is matched by a great-sounding entertainment system. The driver's side seat bolster and shift knob are slightly worn. The vehicle's exterior has a few slight blemishes from routine use, but nothing conspicuous or visible from more than a few feet away. For auction is my Esprit Turbo, a truly great car. This one has only 24000 miles. I am the third owner having purchased it 4 years ago after a yearlong search. The work done is documented below. Everything works as it should. The paint is original and shows the wear of 20+ years. The previous owner bumped the left front bumper with his snow blower and cracked the paint. Tires are 3 year old Kuhmo Escatas, not the best handling but I wanted to keep the Revolution wheels. I have the certificate of provenience and documentation from Lotus Cars which goes with the car. I have had several toy cars and thought the Esprit was to be the “forever” car. But realized there are several other cars I really want to own (Elan +2S, MGB GT, TR 250) so The Lotus is for sale.
