Private owner selling my 1998 BMW e36 M3 sedan. The M3 4-door sedans were only made a couple of years. Features 240 horsepower in-line 6-cylinder "M" engine with automatic transmission. In very good condition with 214k original miles. Needs nothing... engine and tranny are "tight" with no leaks, tires and brakes are excellent, body is rust-free and interior is very good (with normal leather seat wear). Paint is good although not great - come clear coat is dull. All power options work including sunroof, cruise, AC, heat and power windows. Has an aftermarket stereo system with USB input. I am the 3rd owner and have owned the car 2.5 years. Previous owner had it 12 years. Meticulously maintained by professional BMW service facility; I can send serious buyers the CarFax report that documents this maintenance. I'm selling my totally custom 1986 C4 Chevrolet Corvette. This thing is gnar to the max (i.e. maximal level gnarly). If you're a Corvette fan, or muscle car fan in general, you already know that the C4 Vettes are sweet and sought after to use parts for other applications (suspension, 700r4, dana rear end, 5.7 350 engine, etc etc.), or just to be gnar by themselves. Well I took one of those in great condition from the start in 2011, and pumped up the gnar-gnar. I replaced the engine (nothing was wrong with the l98, I just got tired of being made fun of for being slow) when the body had about 165k on it, and rebuilt the transmission and rear end when the body had about 166k. There is a new gauge cluster, so the total miles on the body aren't visible, but I replaced the gauges at the exact time the new engine was installed. New engine has 4120 miles on it, and new trans and rear end have about 1100 miles. Below is everything done to this gnar-dog: BODY: - 1995 ZR1 front and rear bumpers, and side vents - Greenwood spoiler - American Racing 3-piece rims, 17x 9.5 front (275 Nexen z-rated front tires), 17 x 11 rear (315 Sumitomo z-rated rear tires, less than 1000 miles) - HID 6000k headlights (people flash their lights at me all the time when I have this on LOW) ENGINE: >> (got rid of the TPI tuned port injection air-suffocating, and little baby-powered L98, and did a crate-motor swap with the CORRECT carb swap for a real man-power application...even with a TPIS MiniRam intake and custom all TPI crap, the L98 setup was not enough for me) - Brand new 355 cubic inch crate engine from Blue Print Engines (4,120 miles) with approx. 450 horsepower, 430 torque at the crank. - Full EGR, emissions delete - Blue Print engines high flow aluminum heads - NGK racing plugs - Weiand X-celerator intake - Holley 770cfm Street Avenger Carb - New fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator, gauge - MSD HEI distributor and MSD wires - Heavy-duty custom 2-row aluminum radiator (not that cheap foreign crap) - New aluminum water pump - New complete A/C system - New ignition switch - Custom -tuned MEMCAL/EPROM EXHAUST: - Corsa Xtreme exhaust - Summit racing shorty headers - Cat delete (all 3) DRIVETRAIN: - Fully rebuilt 700R4 with Transgo shift kit (1100 miles on transmission) - Fully rebuilt rear end (Dana 36) with 3.75 rear gear ratio - Hayden transmission oil cooler - Full brake service INTERIOR: - Custom gauge cluster with all Autometer gauges - Push Start ignition (with secret security features) - Sport seats from 1994 Corvette - Front speaker delete (those suckers were heavy and stole speed) - USB/Aux-in head unit (I never listen to it because the engine sounds better than music, but the rear speakers work if you're into that kind of thing) I have receipts for everything done (by professionals), as well as full documentation for everything else you can think of. So you're asking why I'm selling this red demon if it's next level. The answer is I'm working on my PhD, and after two degrees and years of youth, it's time to grow up....NOTTT. The reason I'm selling it because if I continue to have it, I will keep pouring money into this thing and amp up its lightning even more (subsequently brokifying me more) to the point that it will suffocate anyone driving near it with noise, chest-crushing shock waves, and pollutions. Plus I can't afford any more tickets. This red demon is on par with what Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kauffman from Fast N Loud would spit out....but better...because it doesn't have stupid air ride. And even way better (i.e. prettier AND faster) than something that you would see on Roadkill with David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, because it actually reaches its destinations. I should probably have some disclaimer in here that this is for off road use only, so this is for off road use only. So now it's time for the bad.....you will get too many tickets and babes and dudes. Notice there is no "and/or" statement there....that's because babes dig this thing, and so do dudes. I have taken the utmost care of this car throughout the entire duration that I have owned it, and have changed all the fluids at regular intervals and followed all appropriate break-in procedures. I love this thing and hate to get rid of it, and my financial situation is the only reason I'm even thinking about considering it. I will sell a kidney to get the money I need instead of think about dealing with a lowballer, so I'm not super motivated to sell it because the good Lord blessed me with two kidneys (i.e. monetary equivalent of life insurance policy without having to die, unless the motel surgeon forgets to dip the scalpel in the liquor).
