1988 IROC Z with 37k miles and one owner since new. Please look at the option code sticker, this is a loaded IROC. There really weren't too many loaded IROCS back in the day, and I do remember. Please check out how many options via the rpo codes below which tell you more than the window sticker or I have time for. Purchased this IROC from the original owner in nearby Los Alamos NM. Complete history of the car is known. It starts, runs, steers, brakes without issue, no vibrations, pull, hesitancy, or issues. AC is cold and heat is hot. All functions work including cruise and power options. All gauges work and the great sounding but finicky with age Bose works. Bose was by far the best sound system ever placed in a third gen Camaro/Firebird btw. This IROC was repainted by the dealer under warranty in 1990 for a peeling clear coat. The clear peeled from the bottom from stone chips, road debris, etc. It was not due to sun damage, acid rain, or whatever you can think of on the top surfaces. The paint job is very nice and has held up well. This IROC is not without scratches tho, it has several little scratches in many places. It does not need a repaint, but you should know about them since they do not show in photos. The wheels are curb rash free but the clear is peeling in areas. Inside, under hood, and trunk are very good as you can see. This IROC is a great fair weather weekend driver. No not a driver type that is code for junk via many eBay sellers. This is a collector worthy car, just one you can take on a nice road trip without fear of inevitable normal wear and tear. I've had many third gen F bodies and it is a genuine pleasure to drive one optioned perfectly that can be used without two guard cars and a bazooka (this is a high mile car compared to my others). The right engine, diff, brakes, etc. mean so much in these cars. This one has all that covered in spades. This is a good driving car even by today's lofty standards. Inspections encouraged and welcomed. In person approval is even better. Please note I have been on eBay for way over a decade. I have a car collection I am ever changing, hence some come up for sale.
