This auction is for my 1969 z28 rs with original #'s matching 302. This car was built in the second week of December 1968 in California at the vanuys los angeles plant. that is why it is not a x code car. I could not get a clear picture of the vin stamped on the block but is visible by eye and matches vin on dash. also stamped 1206 DZ for December 6th. I am not sure if the Muncie trans is original to car, the #'s stamped vertical are: A37476 or 5? horizontal #'s across top are 3925660. tailshaft is 3857584 GM. Rear end is BU 1101G1. The engine and trans have been rebuilt with less than 300 miles. The car runs very strong and drives great as all mechanicals are newly rebuilt. The z28 has only had 1 repaint which is now fathom green but was originally light green special order.the car is amazingly about 98% complete with all original rally sport equipment, even has the headlight washers still in place which you hardly ever see.I have the original DZ carb but is running a new holley now.The green deluxe interior is in very good condition, seats and headliner are very good, door panels are cracked on arm rest, has the original carpet which is faded, rust on dash by windshield like most I have seen, original rosewood steering wheel with only one small crack.original console gauges.floor boards and trunk pan are solid. rockers are solid and straight. both quarter panels have some rust which I will show in pictures. lower fenders have small rust bubbles.this car has its original sheet metal. You can drive this car anywhere or restore to next level. Here are some facts about this great z28: BUILD DATE-12B-2ND WEEK DECEMBER 1968-VN on vin tag means built in California - HAS THE SHORT SPOILER ON TRUNK WHICH EARLY BUILT CARS HAD. The 2 - - for the paint code means this car was a special order paint car. only 1% of all 1969 Camaros were special order paint cars! the original paint can be seen in door jambs and trunk lip as this car has had only 1 repaint. only 20% of the z28's were the rally sport option. TINTED GLASS -NEW GARDNER STYLE EXHAUST ROSEWOOD WHEEL CLEAR TITLE NO TRADES - SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

This 2001 Miata MX-5 comes with many excellent options: Enkei 15-spoke WheelsAEM Cold Air IntakeBorla ExhaustOil Filter Relocation KitAdjustable SuspensionMomo Steering WheelAluminum Shift KnobHankook Ventus V2 Performance Tires (one year old) This Miata also has Cruise Control, Power Windows, Driver/Passenger Air Bags, AM/FM/CD Stereo with Power Antenna, and Air Conditioning. NOTE: I also have the original wheels fitted with Winter tires, which I will be willing to add to this sale for an additional $300 Recent maintenance performed (this year): New NGK Spark PlugsNew Front Brake Rotors and PadsNew Passenger-front Brake Caliper New Accessory Belts (not installed, but come with the car)Mobil 1 fully-synthetic regularly used for oil changes. So why am I selling it? This summer I bought a new Subaru BRZ as my daily driver. I maintained the fantasy for a couple of months that I would convert the Miata to a track-day toy, but given the time-demands of my job, the reality is that it needs to find another home. What do you need to know? This Miata should only be fueled with Premium-grade (93 Octane or higher) gasoline. While this Miata has been garaged nearly it’s entire life, it has rust on both rear quarter panels, and some small signs of bubbling paint in a few places (you can see in the pictures). Apparently, this rear quarter panel rust is somewhat common for this body style – caused by how the water drains from the convertible top. On a cold start you will hear a squeaking from one of the two accessory belts (instead of one serpentine belt, the car has two belts) at idle when power-consuming options are turned on. For example, if you turn on the heater, the headlights, the fog lights, lower the power windows and turn the steering wheel immediately after starting the car with a cold motor, the belts will surely squeak. Replacement belts will come with the purchase of this car – apologies, but I just haven’t had the time to install them. This Miata was struck while parked nearly three years ago, resulting in cosmetic damage that was fully covered by insurance and professionally repaired by Parchment Collision in Kalamazoo, MI. If I were to keep it, what would I do with it? I seriously considered keeping this car as my daily driver for another couple of years. I love driving it – even in a Michigan winter it is a blast to drive with dedicated Winter tires. The Borla exhaust sounds beautiful, and the Momo steering wheel feels perfect in my hands. If I had kept this as my daily driver I may consider eventually replacing the windshield. When driving directly into a sunset, the age of the windshield is apparent. I might consider taking the car to a body shop for an estimate to repair the rust; or, I might just keep driving it as is for the next 100,000 miles. The other option is to install a roll-bar and prep the car for track work. This car has never been on the track, which is a shame. Maybe its new owner will give it the performance destiny it deserves …
