Very nice 1965 Convertible in its final stage of restoration. It needs very little to be back in the shows, maybe 300 in misc. parts at the Most! She is basically new from front to back inside and out with new interior front and back seats. has new tires on sandblasted and painted rims.. Although the top is new when it was stored it had a crack in the plastic window that's not to noticeable but worth mentioning. Underneath is completely restored. The original motor and trans are rebuilt and work perfect. This Mustang's restoration was started 10 years ago and the previous owner did not complete what little is left for unknown reasons. I'm a V8 guy but if I wanted to keep her I would spend the week installing the front and rear bumpers which I have original re chromed ones but it needs the brackets. Also will need door locks and the front valance painted to match. I have all the emblems for it also that need to be put on. It has a new fuel system front to back minus the filler tube. other than that the front 2 brake cylinder's Are leaking.... As you can see from the pics. underneath the hood is all basically new. Starts with 1 pump of the gas and goes into gear like it should. Lots of time and money went into this restoration she just needs you to tie up the ends... Here is a very clean Porsche in excellent condition with low miles. This Porsche has never been crashed or damaged in any way other then the small ding above the back passengers wheel. This ding was probably from a rock from the road. The AUTOCHECK record ran on 01/24/2014, is clean on this car. All the Kumho tires are in excellent condition with lots of tread left on them, about 3/16". The front tires are 205/50R17 and the back are 255/40R17. the spare tire is brand new. The brakes are in good condition. The clutch was depressed while driving and never came back up, so it needs clutch work. There are regular and side airbags on this car. The interior has leather upholstery. The automatic climate control system module was replaced 2 years ago. There is a new ignition in it. This model is the 2.7L H6 MPI with about 200 HP motor. This car does have electric windows. The top is in excellent condition but the back soft window could use a little help. Its mostly in good condition with one small area that is worn. This has a pioneer sound system and a 4 CD player. The radio control display comes out and pops up to display all the options such as, DVD, SDVD, MCD, TV, Ipod, EXT, NAVI, XM, Sirius, etc. I am the second owner and have put about 2300 miles on it in a year and a half. I will include all the paper work and manuals for it. It has been stored in the garage. Also it does have a spot for a cigarette lighter, but the lighter is missing. Mallory dual point distributer, headers, power brakes, power steering. Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed transmission, 'V" gate shifter. 30# Steel flywheel, high pressure clutch, steel (scatter shield) bell housing, driveshaft loop. 538 Rear Gears. Original Interior, Idiot lights have been replaced with Stewart Warner gauges - Engine Temp, oil pressure, amps, Sun Super Tack on steering column. Craiger S/S Rims (slight pitting) . Origional factory black paint, no rust, body is in excellent condition aside from a few garage dents. Was ordered from the factory W/O stripes and the rear spoiler (Original owner thought they were ugly). The pictures were taken several years ago and then it was put back into the garage, been in the garage under a cover since. It's winter here in Minnesota not a good time to take pictures but if there is something you want a picture of, please ask! It could use a clean and wax job. Has been run recently, put new plug wires on it. Could use a tune up by someone that knows high performance engines. I purchased this car from a dealer and was informed that it was a theft recovery car and therefore the insurance of the previous owner salvaged it. The only part that was damaged when the car was recovered was the drivers side door and window. They were both replaced by the dealer. Why the insurance decided to salvage such a minor damage is beyond me. Anyways, this car has been nothing short of amazing for the past 8 + years without a single problem ever occurring. This is a turn key car with absolutely zero problems and it drives extremely well. There is no stories with this car. It is a female owned and driven car. The only parts I have replaced on this car during my ownership was the alternator, battery, tires, and airbags. The airbags were replaced due to Ford recall and they were done at a local Ford dealer last year (April 20, 2016). I added a GT front facia with fog lights, hood scoops, and window louvers. I have not touched anything else on this car. It is in great condition in and out. Excellent on gas. The car had 27k miles when I purchased it back in late April of 2008 and it currently has 54k original miles. It was only driven a little over 3,000 miles a year and the majority of those were highway miles to and from work. It has always been garage kept when not being driven. Never seen any salt roads. It has, however, seen rain a few times as the weather around here tends to be bipolar. Like I've said prior, there is no stories with this car and everything works as they should. I'm only selling because I purchased an suv to haul the family around and this car sits and collects dust majority of the time as I rarely have time anymore. You won't be disappointed.
