Engine runs very well. The Automatic Transmission is a six-speed, and, does not up-shift past 3rd-gear. There is an up-shift solenoid for each gear. I hate to sell my gorgeous silver 2003 A4 Cabriolet 3.0, but the time has come. I am now not ony allergic to spring seasonal allergies, but also fall seasonal allergies, and it just makes sense for someone else to enjoy this awesome ride with the top down. Audi doesn't make the A4 like they used to, since they introduced the A3, A5, and A7. You need to by an A6 and up today to have the same finishings this car has. I am the second owner, purchased it at 17K as a certified pre-owned from the dealer. It's been a wonderful car, but I can't enjoy it like I used to. The car is in excellent condition mechanically. It drives like a dream, and no expense was spared in maintaining it. The car was serviced by IMA Motorwerke, who specialize in European sports cars. All service records are available upon request. There are a few cosmetic defects, but no rust. Most notably, the rear bumper cover has been bumped on the left side, there is a minor scrape near the rear right wheel well, and there is a spider crack in the paint on the lid of the trunk. The vehicle has no rust whatsoever. I sincerely hope that the next owner will enjoy this car as much as I did.

This little car is not only fun to drive but beautifully designed. Runs great. The body has sustained a few dings (see description & pics), but it runs like a charm. Car has been well maintained at the Audi dealer over the 11 years we have had the car. The car has had one other owner who lived in Florida. In the winter the heated seats are terrific and the back window has heated defrosters. There are no leaks in the top. Bose sound system sounds great, plus it conveys with a cassette adapter for mp3s. The car holds the road beautifully on curves and it's a fun car to drive whether you're on hilly, curvy roads or on long straight-aways. Full disclosure: the glass wind baffle behind the seats no longer functions, the starter makes a slight noise when starting and some of the pixels on the display panel are missing. To our knowledge, no one has ever smoked in the car. For a sports car, the trunk has plenty of space making it great for a nice trip. Two full-sized suitcases plus other items are easily accommodated. The car gets 30 miles to the gallon on the highway. Buyer is responsible for picking up the car. Payment by certified check.
