This offering is for a 1989 Chrysler Lebaron GTC 2.5 Turbo Charged Front Wheel Drive Automatic car. The car is Class legal for NHRA or IHRA competition in front wheel drive classes like A/FS or B/FS. The car runs 13.50's at 98 mph and can qualify in the top 16 cars at any race. This car is driveable on the street, everything works and nothing has been altered. The car has a set of street tires on it, we do have some slick sets available as an extra. The car has some serious tuning a custom/special computer and the motor has been blue printed and is .30 over bore. The transmission has been blueprinted and massaged. Custom Convertor, Autometer tach and gauge. The trunk has a custom fuel cell, one of the fastest front wheel drive cars compared to the class standards in the country. My 1994 Chrysler LeBaron is a VERY nice, 21 year old, classic convertible. It has 121600 miles, and everything, (and I do mean EVERYTHING), is new. This car is an EXTREMELY dependable everyday driver, or a perfect candidate for a restoration. Mechanically, this car is as sound as a new one. There are no engine leaks, and the car does not burn oil. It starts and runs perfectly. We bought the car from my wife's brother in May of 2012 with 106,400 miles on it. I have had the following work done on it...Since the A/C wasn't working that first summer, it got new hoses, evaporator & condensor. That fall the heating wasn't working properly, so I had a VERY THOROUGH acid flush done of the entire system. It also has a new starter and water pump. The second winter, the heating was acting up again, so it got a new radiator and hoses. Brake job included new calipers. The tires have less than 4,000 miles on them. The heat and A/C work flawlessly. I have paperwork for all of these repairs. Obviously, since all of this work has been done after I purchased it, it has all been done in the last 15,000 miles. Cosmetically, it needs some attention as Chrysler back then was notorious for bad paint jobs. The pictures show a lot of paint has peeled off of the hood, but the hood has NO RUST AT ALL! The entire car is very sound. Convertible top works great. The little rubber boot around the gear shift got brittle and needs replacing. There is very minimal rust, and it truly is surface rust that has just bubbled up the paint. Nowhere has it rusted through. The metal in that area is solid and quite workable. Overall, this car is extremely dependable, and currently needs NO mechanical repairs. Please look at all of the pictures, as they are part of my description since I'm NOT an expert on everything I sell. I try to show AND describe any damage.
