1964 Letter Series 300K Convertible with Cross Ram Engine - Chrysler's full-size luxury Muscle Car.Rare opportunity to own a 300K Chrysler Cross Ram. Last offered for sale at Greenwich Concours 2010 Bonhams auction. This stunning beauty features Chrysler's premium high performance power plant: the FirePower 413ci 390 hp V-8 Wedge Engine, with the rare DualCross Ram Inducted Manifold System and Twin Carter AFB Four-Barrel Carburetors. This engine was a costly option available on the 300K ONLY, and impressive to say the least. The spectacular Ram Air intake tubes cross one another atop the engine; each of the four large manifold branches feeds two cylinders, injecting a bigger air/fuel charge into the cylinder. The carburetors are exceptional: twin 4-barrel Carter AFB's in bright red air cleaners. The 1964 model was the last year that Chrysler employed the legendary Cross Ram Induction motor. Never fails to garner interest and excitement whenever it is shown. The engine block tag is stamped C300K with the build date underneath: 12-15-63.
