This vehicle has been religiously maintained with records to prove it. Runs mechanically very well and has been quite reliable. Body has rust on bottom of doors. Small rust thru spots above tail pipe and behind rear doors at step up bumper. Auto shock has bad sensor but shocks are in good shape per mechanic. Left front quarter panel has dent and springs on door handles are weak.

Needing a truck instead of SUV. This has a tow package, luggage rack, third row seating. 4x4 and it works hi and low. Mechanically sound. Starts and drives great. Running strong with 238xxx miles. Lot of tread left in tires. AC doesn't work, don't know why. Heat blows in rear but not up front, was but not since getting heating coil replaced. Have not taken time to find out. Minor issues that I'm sure are easily fixed. I'm wanting a truck that is currently for sale so need to sell this asap. If I sell somewhere else this will be taken down. Poos. Passenger door does not work from inside only outside. We've been rolling window down to open door from inside. 4x4 works.

1997 CHEVY SUBURBAN 1500 4 X 4 W/O.D TRANSMISSION AND POSI. REAR END. 2 OWNER VEHICLE BOUGHT NEW HERE IN CHICAGO AT GATEWAY CHEVROLET. SOLD IN 2004 WITH 90K AND CURRENTLY HAS 178500. THAT'S LESS THAN 10K MILES PER YEAR. TRUCK IS FULLY LOADED AND ALL POWER WORKS. HAS A CODE ALARM BUT I BELIEVE FOB NEEDS A BATTERY. ALARM WORKS,JUST DON'T USE. HAS A TRAILER TOW PACKAGE. PUSH BUTTON 4 WHEEL DRIVE. THE TRUCK JUST HAS A NEW FUEL TANK,FUEL PUMP, PICK UP STRAINER,FILTER,NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS,BOTH NEW U-JOINTS IN FINAL DRIVE SHAFT. HAS DUNLOP TIRES ON IT WITH GOOD THREAD. I HAVE THE BOOKS AND PAPERS FROM NEW NEW WITH WINDOW STICKER. VEHICLE HAS BEEN HERE IN CHICAGO SO IT HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO OUR WINTER ROAD SALT SO IT DOES HAVE SOME RUST AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS BUT OVERALL EXCEPT FOR THE REAR QUARTER RUST IT'S A SOLID TRUCK.
