I am selling my 2001 Chevy LS 2500HD Silverado, with a 8.1 Liter engine, Allison transmission and Z71 package pictured from a recent trip to California. This is a great truck that is in good shape with a 8 foot bed, crew cab and 2WD. The truck comes from southern California and has only seen one month of snow ever. I bought this truck last summer on ebay and it was misrepresented as far as condition. Since I have put $1200 in ball joints, tie rod ends and swing arm and two new tires. I have also repaired all small issues to my knowledge. Window, locks, AC, heater all work great. The battery is brand new this week replaced with a large interstate battery with many cranking amps. It has a K&N air filter with K&N cold air system, and aftermarket Dynamax exhaust. Not louder but breaths better than stock and improves performance. After market rims and tires have less than 3000 miles. The interior is in good shape, no tears, or stains, non smoker. The cloth bucket seats are fully powered with many adjustments for a very comfortable ride. It has a lift to give it a little better look. The large 8.1 engine paired with the Allison tranny is a great combination that could pull a large camper, boat or heavy equipment. I am amazed every time I drive this truck at the instant power that the 496 CI engine puts out. It is rated to pull over 13,000 lbs. Only 125,000 thousand miles on this truck, it has much life left. On the bad side there is a dent or a wrinkle on the box behind the rear passenger door. This truck is in good shape at a fraction of the cost of a new truck. They are hard to find not beat up. Most seem to be ex rig trucks from the oil field. I am asking $7600 to pay off my loan. I do have title in hand. Terms of sale are firm, cash in hand, or money wired to my account, or we wait for the check to clear. There is no shipping offered but I could pick you up from the local airport if needed. I am selling this truck simply because it is not a 4x4 and in Wyoming we need a 4x4 because of our harsh winters. There are no hidden issues with this truck to my knowledge and would be a great truck for someone in the south USA. Truck is being sold in as is condition.
