This is a 1973 Chevrolet half-ton two wheel drive truck with a 454 V8 engine and TH400 automatic transmission. I bought this about three years ago and have put at most 3,000 miles on it. Everything about this truck tells me that the mileage is original, and the truck was never in a garage. The truck has the original spiral shocks, the doors close as they should, the hood shuts as it should, the speedometer is smooth, the transmission shifts great, it is quiet on the road, the gear indicator is connected, the seat is the original but cracked under the tape, the headliner is there but sagging, the windows roll up and down great, the original engine belts were on this when I bought it (see photo of older belt…and I think the original hoses were as well), there is hardly any wear on the brake pedal, there are four hubcaps, the original insulation is under the hood, the blower motor is quiet, some of the body caulking is still in the bed at the seams. The deterioration and rust are a result of not being garaged instead of mileage. The work I have done in the last 3,000 miles is as follows: I have replaced the radiator hoses, engine belts, and changed the oil. I have not sprayed off the engine, and I did not clean up anything for the photos. I bought a new set of tires a few months ago; they have less than 300 miles on them. Some of the underneath photos and photos by the tires have the older tires that were on it. Some of the imperfections that may not be visible in the photos are as follows: There is a broken corner on the instrument bezel by a screw. The blower motor switch has a broken baton. The radio does not make sound; I have not checked to see if the speaker doesn’t work or what. The rear view mirror is on the floor and will need to be reattached to the windshield. The passenger side front inner wheel well is bent up behind the front tire. I have owned three chevy trucks with 454 engines, and they have all run the same. This one is no exception. The warmer the engine gets, the smoother it runs. This is currently my daily driver, so there may be around 100 miles or so additional on it. I would feel comfortable driving this anywhere, but if you live across the country and would like to drive it home, I will offer some advise. Due to its age, I would recomend driving this around 65mph as current highway speeds of 75-85mph driving all day may be a bit taxing on a 40-year-old, unrestored vehicle. I have had it up to 70mph and it goes down the road as it should. The toolbox in the bed will not be included in the sale. I am relisting this because I have been contacted by multiple ebay users about purchasing the truck after the auction was over. Please submit an offer on it if you are interested as I will not complete a transaction that started on ebay outside of ebay. Please cursor down to see multiple photos and a walk around video of the pickup. Thank you for your interest. Click here to watch the walk around video. Thank you for your interest. Please give this truck a good home.

Excellent running truck! I drive this truck every weekend 160 mile round trip. The title is clean and clear. Truck has new water pump, spark plugs and wires, tires and rims, coil springs, shocks, and back drum brakes. There is 3 inch size rust on the edges of the hood, and on the front fenders (please see pics), There is a rock chip to the left side of the windshield. The cab floor is solid. This truck DOES NEED to be restored, but is an good shape to drive currently. If you have any questions about this listing please contact me, I will answer all questions to the best of my ability.
