You are bidding on this clean 1966 Chevy Impala. This is a clean car with great lines. It is a smooth running car that you can drive anywhere. There is no rust on the body and minor surface rust on the under carraige. It has a great paint job and cool pin stripping with a new Custom Autosound stereo and rims/tires. This would make a great weekend car or project to build up. The motor is original and runs strong. The interior is all original except for the front seat which has been recovered.
A Hot Rodder got a hold of this wagon 10 years or so ago. The 40 square feet of roof area is a beautiful and glossy cream color. The rest of the vehicle is painted with a flat sheen.The interior is custom two tone cream and dark camel in color. It features Air Ride suspension front and rear. Specifically, this is the tubular "Strong Arm" suspension with 4 corner air bags. There are two air pump compressors, one behind each rear fender, and the air tank is located in the spare tire area. The engine and transmission combo is a Chevrolet 350 and a TH350 automatic. They work well with this vehicle and function perfectly. I personally prefer the 15" 5 spoke hot rod wheels. My next step was to add white walls. Lot's of folks do like to add 18's and 20's front and rear, which look great as well. This car has been a lot of fun and she definitely gets attention! I've heard so many stories from folks whose parents owned one. All different types of people enjoy this vehicle. My family is going to miss it, but I need to raise some capital to start a business.
