This looks like the perfect pre-WWII gem with its tall fenders and all that great chrome intact on places like the big grille, bumpers, and sweeping line that runs the entire length of the body. But then you get a little closer. You start to see the aggressive shiny wheels, the dual exhaust tips, and a shade of white that sparkles like a true custom build. Your senses kick in, and you realize that you are approaching what could be a quite sly street machine. Once you open the door, you realize your instincts were quite right. The white vinyl tuck and roll interior extends beyond the seats and onto the side panels. The Lecarra sports steering wheel has been covered to match this setup. Beyond that looks like a standard gauge package, but in reality modern readouts have been customized to fit behind the original slots in the dash to provide a vintage look while supplying the most accurate data. There's also a SunPro tachometer mounted on the tilt steering column so you can clearly see what the motor is doing. While this might seem like a purely driver-oriented car, this Chevy has some great features for everyone like the AM/FM/cassette stereo and ice cold air conditioning running modern R-134a for easy servicing. Everything you've seen so far has hinted at something special underneath the hood, and this powerplant does not disappoint. It's a 350 cubic-inch V8 that was borrowed from a '79 Corvette and rebuilt around 17K miles ago. This is an easily upgradeable motor, and you can already tell that some work has been done with features like the performance air cleaner and Edelbrock carburetor. This '41 not only has a growl from the dual exhaust, but also it has the bite to back it up.
