this 61 vette is in really good shape all glass looks good frame is nice also this car has been in dry storage since 1986 until recently engine is a 327 as far as I can tell sounds really good has a good good sounding cam in it does not smoke has antifreeze in it with no leak as far as I can tell has good oil pressure and under the valve cover looks like new really clean 4 speed trans shifts good all lights work and the original generator is charging also has a new set of seat covers for the original seats have all keys also it does have a aftermarket top that fits it really good don't have a picture with the top off but does have a white convertible top in it but would need a new canvas on it the tail pipes look to be original and as far as I can tell it is showing actual miles 68345 A on the title steering tight also it will need brake work the parking brake works fine and the fuel tank will need cleaning or a new one it is hooked to a gas can for running it now does not have the front tag bracket both front and rear valances look really nice dash pad is in great shape and the passenger side inside ball for the door handle is in the ash tray the cable to the hood latches is broke I have described it to the best of my ability look at the pictures this is the condition of it took pictures today car will be sold as is no warranty has a new battery and cranks and moves on its own for loading and will load on to any transporter or trailer with no problem this is my parents car and listing for them thanks for looking

Has been garaged and covered and dealer maintained. Has had the driver side fender replaced due to stationary impact in a parking lot. That was repaired at Koons Chevrolet in Fairfax, VA and the front clip was painted, too. Looks new again! Has a couple minor scratches. Will be taken in for headlight recall this week. Sorry to part with this great performing and handling vehicle, but moving to the mountains, where it won't be too practical. The title is clear as the loan/lien was paid off in May, 2015.New Notes: added that vehicle has Heads-up display and navigation, heated seats for driver and passenger. 1965 was a Pinnacle year for the Chevrolet Corvette's history. The very first Introduction of a Big Block into the infamous C2 Corvette. Already a place holder for one of the fastest production cars ever produced until 1965, the 396 ci 6.5L 425hp engine was just the icing on the cake! This was the only year for the 396 "Turbo Jet" engine! This was mated to a M-21 Muncie 4spd for maximum achievement of directing the power of the NEW 396 to the street. An optional F40 front suspension was also added with disc brakes for the 1965 corvette. Needless to say this a great year for any corvette or classic car collector to own. The ease of drivability on this year corvette is astonoshing compared to the previous models! This fully optioned 1965 corvette is better than it was new off the factory floor. This car is a date code correct engine and transmission; meaning the engine and transmission are brand new. Not the True numbers matching corvette you were hoping to hear. I myself truly appreciate the rarity of seeing a car 50 plus years old having the original block casting, heads and transmission but lets face the facts. Do you really want to be using a drivetrain that old. This car revs and drives as if it were brand new becuase it basically is. This corvette has undergone a recent "Frame-Off Nut & Bolt Restoration" all the way down to new chevrolet corvette ralley wheels. While maintaing the factory look and appeal a few technological upgrades were added. A fullly electronic MSD system was professionally installed, MSD pro-billet Ignition distributor, MSD electronic ignition module, MSD coil, All MSD wires and harnesses with AC-Delco spark plugs. The installation of this MSD system while still maintaining factory appearance has drastically increased the ease of drivability in this car! The manual cable ignition from the key tumbler back no longer exists giving you 99.9% more reliability than it had before. To enhance the tuning a 750 CFM classic carburetor was instaled as well. This allowed us to correctly tune the car to run smoother and faster than original! To harness the power of this 396 Turbo Jet we installed a sport suspension and handling package including a posi-trac rear end with a 3.55 gear ratio. Now you can lay all the power the ground and achieve it without losing control. If you want the perfect 1965 Corvette Convertible that is 100% TURN KEY READY! This is the one that you should own.
