This is a rust free car that has been professionally rotisserie restored up to this point at a cost of over $70K. The reserve is much less than te total investment...somebody is going to get a great deal on this Chevelle. The Chassis is completely restored, new disc brakes and suspension. Brand new GM performance ZZ 454 440hp, munci 4spd, 12bolt rear. The body has been restored with the best new body panels available and done correctly. Finished in a Beautiful $15K Marina blue paint job. I also have available for sale many other Chevelles and parts for all years 1964 thru 1973. This car is listed as a "1970 SS Chevelle Convertible clone ". By this I mean it is not a real SS or Super Sport. It is also a 2 door hardtop that was professionally converted to a convertible with all the correct convertible parts in our shop: woottonsredlineclassiccars. The only way to tell that it started life as a hardtop is by the vin#...You can not tell looking at the car. The car has all the original Chevelle #'s on it including the vin and cowl tag. The Chassis is an original GM A body convertible chassis. The car is currently registered in Connecticut as a 1970 Chevelle & all papererwork will transfer to any state. We specialize in converting Hardtop Chevelles, Camaros & 55 56 & 57 Chevys to convertibles. We also do Mustang coupe to fastback conversions. This car has all the SS goodies for a perfect reproduction..., SS steering wheel, black vinyl redone seats, nice dash... Nice GM rally wheels with Dunlop Qualifiers, Car has a nice stance. Interior decent with newer carpet, seats redone, no cracks in dash, even the interior light and key buzzer works... Does need a headliner, The body is painted base/clear in electric blue with black SS stripes, A couple of rust bubbles on the rear near trunk and down near the rocker trim.... Not too noticable. The bumpers have nice chrome. trim and signal lights in good shape. Grill and trim are nice, Under the hood is a Stock 350 small block with th 350 automatic transmission, Runs and drives well. Power steering, AC car from the factory that is non functional at the moment. Clean paperwork. Has headers, flowmaster mufflers on a full dual exhaust. Sounds Great! This a great car and is ready to be enjoyed. Could use some detailing and updates to be an even nicer driver. The body is solid and doesn't have any rust or rot holes and is fairly straight but isn't perfect either. This car is very respectable as a driver. The floors are solid as is the frame.
