Up for auction is a very nice 1969 Malibu that we recently took on trade here locally. This car has belonged to the same owner for approx 15+ years. This Malibu is as SOLID and RUST FREE as you will EVER find! It retains all of its original sheet metal! This car is mostly original and has had a one time repaint in its original color and completed approx 8 years ago. It has been garage kept and driven very little since completion. The paint is extremely nice! It is slick, straight, has a high shine, NO trash NO runs, NO orange peel. The paint has what I would consider to be normal wear as far as few very minor chips way down low on rockers that has been touched up. I would rate the paint on this car a 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect. All of the body lines and gaps are as good as it gets. All chrome, stainless, emblems etc shows very very well The car has all factory tinted glass and it is impressive! NO disappointments with the paint and body on this one! I was told this car has all of its original interior. It shows very impressive for its age! No rips or tears and everything is intact like it should be. There is some light fading/discoloration on the door panels, kick panels, carpet and steering wheel due to age and fading. The seat covers, headliner dash pad are very nice. The undercarriage is clean through out NO signs of rust or repair all original floors. It comes with a folder of receipts documenting all work done on drivetrain. The engine bay has been nicely freshened up and detailed through out. It is now stuffed with a non matching # 396 engine w/ aluminum intake 4 barrel carb, polished headers. Tehe car runs VERY strong and Sounds excellent NO problems. Estimated 350 H.P. Has a BRAND NEW Richmond 4 speed transmission (costs $1,600) and stock 10 bolt rear end. This car runs and drives excellent and has NO known mechanical problems. It is equipped with power steering and power brakes (disc on front drums on rear) As fair as I can be..... 1972 chevelle Malibu 2 door hardtop 350 425hp engine, th350 with b and m shift kit and 2200 stall converter, heavy 10 bolt rear with 3.55 gears and auburn locker. all mechanical and drive train rebuilt from front to back with less than 2000 miles since restoration in 2007. the car has original floor pans, rocker panels, quarter panels, trunk pans. all original sheet metal except for hood and decklid. the car has factory air, power steering and power brakes with front disc brakes. all the interior has been replaced including seat covers and carpet..all the glass except for the door glasses are all new. I have all the original paperwork that came with the car in 1972. THIS CAR IS A HEAD TURNER , IT RUNS AND DRIVES VERY VERY WELL.

I'm going to get this out of the way first because too me it is most important in a classic car! This car IS mechanically 100% one of the best cars you will ride and drive! Everything on this car works properly.. ALL lights, signals, horn, wipers, radio, gauges etc. It starts with the bump of the key and hits the road as good or better than any car I have ever owned and I've owned hundreds! You will NOT be disappointed with how well this car drives! I would not be afraid to jump in it and go anywhere!! It has a non matching # 327 sounds great runs VERY strong NO problems with a factory 4 speed transmission that shifts as good as new and a 10 bolt rear end geared perfect for long trips as well as around town at approx 3:23. The car is equipped with power steering, drum brakes, still has factory hubcaps, bucket seats/console. It has recently been serviced and inspected and checks out well mechanically! (NO PROBLEMS!) The car appears to be all original sheet metal and is very solid! All chrome, glass, stainless etc also appears to be mostly original but looks exceptionally well for its age. We were told the paint on this car is approx 18 years old. ( If you want a show car it will need repainted) I had this car wet sanded and buffed all over and it has a nice shine and is slick, but due to its age has imperfections chips that have been touched up, few minor dings etc. What I would call good driver quality paint. The floors, trunk are solid original. The engine bay has been nicely cleaned and detailed and presents itself very well. The interior on this car is absolutely amazing condition! It is clean through out, no rips or tears! It has bucket seatts w/ factory console. All gauges interior lights work. The headliner is great also. This car is very true and a nice car. The only thing I would be hard on is the paint and some of the trim. Other than that You may find a nicer 64 Malibu for sale, But I promise you won't find a better one! As fair as I can be.....
