The one body on repaint that this car has had is miles deep, and we all know how hard it is to keep black straight when you are spraying it. This one is laser straight from any angle that you look at it. As we have said, this was a body on restoration. So, as you will see in the under carriage pics, there are no problems to speak of. It is just a good looking driver quality underneath. The interior of the car was redone as well and you will not find a flaw in the seats, carpet, dash, or headliner. You just open the door and slide in and get ready to turn that key. Now, make sure that once you do turn that key, that you turn on that cold a/c. Yep folks this big block 4 speed car has a/c, power brakes, and power steering. This would have been a very expensive car back in the day with all of these options. The motor under the hood of this driving investment is the original 396. The motor was completely pulled out, stripped down, boiled out, and put back together. As you will see in the pics there is a new intake manifold and carb, but the original pair go with the car. This is matted to a date coded 4 speed transmission, and that goes to the original rear end. The pumpkin is now housing 3.42 gears, and the original 4.11's come with the car. This combo has plenty of power to get you anywhere you want efficiently, but with the 3.42's be able to drive it on the highway and enjoy it. Let's face it, we all love 4.11's, but they are not fun for long periods of time on America's highways.
