I am selling my 1997 Camaro SS-SLP. I am the second owner of this car and have owned it for just over 4yrs and put only 2500 miles on it since I purchased. This car has never seen a winter and has never been smoked in. As you see in the pictures it is a beautiful example of Chevrolet History (30th Anniversary), this is the last year of the Camaro rectangle headlights and the LT1 engine. I have all paperwork since this vehicle was purchased new. The car is 100% the same way it left the showroom back in 1997, any maintenance was done with OEM equipment. The car has never been in an accident part of the reason why it is in the condition that it is today along with the way it was maintained over the years. When uncovering it to do this listing I noticed the passenger window quit working, it worked when I put it away, go figure. This is minor and I can have the window motor replaced, this is not a big deal. The driver side window motor has been replaced in the past. Everything else on the car works flawlessly. The only mark on the body is a very small ding behind the passenger door just above mid panel about 3"/4" behind door. Tires have 4500 miles on them and in excellent condition. Condition: This vehicle was used for commenting for about 3 years. There has been is only 2 owners. Smoke free, very clean, drives smooth. Good brakes. Great overall conditions. It does have some minor things but they can be fixed: Issues that were not repaired/fixed: The gas odometer needs to be replaced because its not accurate(this is the only mechanical issue that needs to be done if you want accuracy). This problem goes away after driving it for about 10 minutes or so. There was a parking lot hit on the side to a pole. This caused a little bump on the side of the body but this can be put back with a hammer. It did not affect an engine parts guaranteed(minor issue). Vehicle can be driven without repairs and we felt like we didn't need to fix these. Why fix something unnecessary. Fixed issues: There was minor touchup done on the vehicle in some areas but its great now. The left cover of the bulb is chipped but you cannot see it unless you really concentrate. You can buy a cover for about $10 if you want it to look better. In our opinion it wasn't a big deal. The actual vehicle is in very good conditions and it drives very smooth. It has clean title, low mileage(accuracy guaranteed here). Very good car. Some features that the vehicle include are anti lock brakes which are excellent for the winter. It has cassette, radio player which works good. Runs very smooth no problem. No known mechanical issues. It does have custom part installation on the sides which gives it a unique look. All of the floor pans, trunk pan, etc. are the originals on this car, and they are very solid. The rear quarters are the originals and have never seen rust. This car is not one of those cars with patch panels on it. The under-carriage is very solid, but has not been detailed. Some of the original paint on the undercarriage is peeling, and some very, very, light surface rust in areas. But I think you will be hard pressed to find a 'cleaner' Chevelle SS. I have had the privilege of owning this 1995 Chevy impala SS after my father-in-law handed it down to me. He order this vehicle new and was very proud of it. It has 90,000 miles on it and is all original, very well taken care of . He saved every piece of paper work for the vehicle including the sticker on the window from the day he picked it up from the dealer. This is a very clean car, no tears anywhere and the body is in excellent shape. Black exterior gray interior, power everything. Tires and rims are in great shape, no oxidation on the bumpers as on many 95 Impalas. The vehicle needs rear window regulators, driver side seat belt retractor and a radio. The radio was brand new 2 years ago but after the battery died the radio stopped working, the battery is new and trickle charged in the winter as this vehicle is stored during winter months.
