I am selling "my" 1951. I have owned it nearly 3 years and have spent the entire time going through the whole car, mostly mechanical wise. I use this car daily and its very dependable. This is a car you can purchase and just enjoy it without worries of having to fix this and that. I have done all that work already. The paint, chrome and trim are user friendly, not car show level, but it shows very well. There are some very small rust holes next to the rear license plate but for the age of the car it is extremely minimal. I will list the best of all the work I have done to the car. New gas tank and sending unit light switch NOS 3 speed transmission brake master cylinder 6V Optima battery tires ignition system all new and tuned rebuilt generator rebuilt carburetor Williams split manifold and duel exhaust rear air shocks front drop uprights and correct steering arms radiator and cooling system all serviced rear seal replaced 12V AM FM cassette player, color bar and under hood light, (all powered by 12V battery in the trunk) original tool bag and tools original spare in the trunk Other items; door handle guards, accessory Hull 6V compass, rear window blinds, ( I fabricated), roof rack, ( made from vintage roof rack and I fabricated the wood, removes in 15 minutes), swamp cooler, original Guide fog lights, (work), original spotlight, ( doesn't work), wind silencers, rear trunk guard, rare 6V fender guide, (works), window vent shades, NOS accessory wheel covers, Heater, (works), 6V siren, (works), original clock and radio works, turn signals and emergency flashers work, original accessory steering wheel, NOS accessory gazelle hood ornament, original vent breezies, NOS original GM tissue dispenser, all glass original, rows up and down with no problems, no cracks. The gears in the transmission are all replaced using the original housing and it shifts butter smooth. Brakes stop the car firmly and without any pull. The car's manual choke works excellent and idles perfect. Feel free to call me with any questions regarding my car at 409 766-0986. No deposit required, if it doesn't sell I just keep it. Winning bidder will be responsible for transport and I will be happy to assist in pickup. The car is always garaged and insured till new owner takes delivery. Thank you and good luck'
