For Sale is a '71 Nova that was purchased & driven in Southern California through the years, not wrecked, abused, taken apart or driven in SALT. It's a solid honest car that is 44 years old with all of it's original GM sheet metal panels intact & factory paint. Please read on if you are looking to restore / hot rod / pro street / or just drive an old original looking Nova. KNOWN HISTORY: This Placer Gold Nova was purchased new in Southern California and remained there for most of it's life until coming to North Idaho where I bought it (about 15 years ago) from my neighbor who was the original owner's son. I have the Original Protect-O-Plate & Glove box Owners Manual & Data sheet (all included with car). DOES NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION - originally a 307 V8 w/Turbo 350 - now has a 350 & turbo 350. Runs & drives good. PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE DESCRIPTION & LOOK AT ALL OF THE PHOTOS, IT SHOULD ANSWER MOST OF ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND >>>>>>>>>> SELLING "AS - IS" & "WHERE IS" The body on this Nova is about as RUST FREE as anyone will find since it has spent all of it's life on the west portion of the U.S. NOTHING HIDDEN or COVERED UP ON THE BODY !! Body Condition as Follows: PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS The Original Paint is very thin on the top & lower portions of this car & looks better in the listed photos than it does in person. The side paint is much better where it was not in direct sunlight over the years. The body has small dents & dings here & there with the worst being the driver's side front fender lip where the original owner clipped the garage door opening. The only known (Rust Through Area) is on the same left front fender close to the bottom - see close-up photo with pencil to show the size. All other areas on the body have light surface rust where the paint is either worn off, scratched or thin. Trunk Area & Inside Rear Fenders - Great shape with Original GM Factory Trunk Paint. On one or two of the pictures of the underside of the car, I've sprayed water on the surface to show the condition of those areas which shows the factory gold paint over-spray that is still present. Original Jack & Hardware w/Spare Tire.
