Very Fast car, New solid disc wheels with New Hoosier Drag Slicks on the rear and Mickey Thompson Skinnies up front. Louvered Tailgate with Cargo Cover on Bed. Bucket Seats with Racing Harness Seat belts. Aftermarket Gauges added however everything on this car works including the original gauges. Lights Blinkers Heat Defrost Fuel Gauge etc... No Cracks on the dash. Ready for the track or street. Very low miles since rebuild. This truck has balls.... Don't sleep on this one. 1949 Chevrolet 3100. I got it from a Barn/Garage in CT. I cleaned up the carb, added fresh fuel and a new fuel filter and it fired right up. It Runs and drives great. Has original motor with 80,000 miles. Like I said it starts right up without any problems. It actually starts easier than my daily driver. I love the foot pedal starter. It has a "3 on the Tree" manual transmission. Shifts through all the gears and reverse with no problems. Clutch works good. Gauges are also working. Speedo is missing the needle. Odometer is working. Fuel Gauge works. Oil Pressure Gauge works. *All the Glass is there and not broken* The driver side door glass is off the track will need to be put back in place. Body is in great shape. There is some black primer on fenders and hood. Fenders both front and rear are in great shape. Bed has all the wood boards in place. Hood is in great shape. Tailgate looks great. Everything is there accept the running boards (They are available in many places). I have the front bumper. It will be included. Bench seat has been reupholstered. Also the door panel were done to match the bench seat. It has brand New Tires all around, Center caps are there. This is a complete running driving truck, Brakes work all around . This is not some old junk truck in 100 pieces and there are no piles of parts to go with it. It is a running driving stopping fire it right up truck, Somebody also upgraded it to a 12 volt system, It is a 1949 truck (68 yrs, old) so there is a spot or two of rust but nothing heavy. I think you could say that it has a Great Patina to it. I also have a 1974 Corvette sitting on a new chassis. I was going to put the truck on the vette but this truck is too good to take apart. (Just my opinion) I could include the vette for a fee too? Vette has 350 with aluminum heads, 4 speed on a new chassis. So like I said the truck is sold as is. Its 68 yrs old. There will be some wear and age. It is not a 2017 Silverado. I feel that I have done my best to describe the truck. I am sure that some of you have much more knowledge than I do. That is cool with me. I am not looking to get in to a battle of the wits or even some crazy email feud. The truck runs and drives and stops. I drove it around for at least an hour today. No problems at all. No overheating or leaking. No broken parts. I know this truck could easily be restored to 100%. It is all there. Comes with CT. Vin/Registration from previous owner and a Bill of Sale. There are no Titles on cars this old from CT. Also for sale locally.... Please be reasonable as I am not pressed to sell.... Thanks for Checking out my 1986 Monte Carlo. As you can see the car is in great shape. I am the 3rd owner. My friend purchased the car from the original owner with intentions of building a cool car with his son. Father and Son project. The son lost interest so I bought the car for myself. The powertrain on the car was removed and replaced with the following. A brand new GM Crate Motor. It is a 350ci that has 400 hp.It has Holley 650 cfm carb. The motor has less than 10k on it and it has got plenty of power. Very Very Strong Motor,It also has a B&M shifter. Since had it I added a 200r4 Transmission. It was built to suit the motor and it shifts and drives perfect. It has only 2000 miles on it, I also replaced the headers when the transmission was replaced. It is very fast car. For the last few years it has been a great daily driver. The interior is original red velour with buckets in front and bench seat in the rear. The condition is very good for original. The color has faded a little but it is all intact with out any major flaws. It has a CD player am/fm stereo. It will need a headliner also or you can just refinish the original one. The paint on the car is very very nice. The sides were recently blocked sanded and repainted, They are laser straight. The hood has paint wear at the nose from closing. It is minor and never bothered me. This car starts right up hot or cold. Please remember that it is a carb. You will need to warm it up on cold daays. I just put the manual choke on for a minute or two. Last week I put a brand new set of 18" Resto Polished Aluminum Wheel with Brand New BF Goodrich Tires. They have about 25 miles on them and they look great. I truly want you to know that this is a great car.It will go for a long time and be real good to you, I always kept the oil fresh (3000 miles) Reason to sell is I have recently purchased a 70's Trans Am (My personal Dream Car) and I am going to fully restore the TA.
