Numbers matching 1972 Corvette Stingray, one of few original Pewter silver color code, 350 Base Original Engine blueprinted to perfection (350/350 hp) by Zeke's Automotive Performance Shop. This Stingray still retains its original alternator and point system distributor. I think this is one of 617 built with the three speed THM 400. Production date February 14, 1972 (Valentine's Day). Production Plant, St. Louis, MO. I could go on with the engine specs, but it would be too long. I could email relevant documentation. Yes, I am sure that the sticker tank is still intact, because the tank is original and never was manipulated. Stainless Steel calipers, stops on a dime, poly bushings everywhere, front and rear as well. Yes I have the original valve covers in a box. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, rear window defroster,3 point seat belts, pop out back window. American Racing Appliance Rims. Original radio (AM/FM push button} is still where the factory installed It along with factory speakers. It used to work, then it just stopped getting a reception, never tried to see what the problem was. I have owned this car since 1985, it has always been garage kept. Never winter driven by me or the second owner (Kept in a heated garage). Second owner (an older man) lived nearby, he purchased it from a fellow co-worker ,in 1977 (the original owner). Please keep in mind that this car is 43 years old plus. Carpets are deteriorating in the front area; carpets in cargo area are ok. Passenger seat is in very good condition; however driver’s seat may need some re-stitching. To my knowledge car has the original paint with blemishes. Paint is also fading away (especially hood) and chipping away on the tailgate. I was never able to find a competent shop to repaint this car and have left it to the next owner to handle it. Basically what you see is what you get, nothing hidden by mediocre paint job. Car has BF Goodrich tires that have 95+% thread but they have been on the car since 1989, Even though they are in showroom condition, no cracks nor dry, I think they should be replaced. Brand new Dyno-Max performance exhaust system that was sitting in boxes for years (discontinued) was finally installed last year from headers to tail pipe (complete). This car gets a fresh oil and filter change every spring even though I have only been putting a little over 100 miles every summer in the past few years. This car is priced, based on the condition of the car and comparison to all others listed on other auctions. This car has never gotten a frame up, because it doesn't need it. This car has always been serviced with never any compromise to quality parts or workmanship. THIS IS NOT A RECENT PURCHASE, REPAINT, MAKE IT RUN and then SELL Car. This is a TRUE SURVIVOR. I urge interested bidders to personally inspect the car, if possible. I would find it hard to buy a car over the net, without personally inspecting it. Overwhelming HISTORY available since 1978.
