This is a truly an American classic survivor. Paint and upholstery are original. Engine, transmission are original. Even the headlights and glass are original. Up for sale 1988 Chevy Crew Cab. I have owned this truck for about 10 years. This truck was sold originally in MT, I bought it locally and moved it with me to NM. This truck has a corporate 14 bolt with 4.10 gears and a Detroit locker with a Mag-Hytec cover. Front end is a dana 60 with manual hubs. About a 4" lift on the truck just enough to clear the 35" tires on 10" aluminum rims plus a 5th identical tire and rim. This truck is 27 years old with the original paint, the NM sun has not been nice to the clear coat whichh is pealing everywhere, corrosion is light for living in MT for so long and rockers are decent. Interior is in good shape with customer bucket seats upfront. The floor is rubber and windows and locks are manual. The truck is well taken care of and recent work includes, New Turbo 400 Transmission (less than 200 miles on it), new rear brakes including cylinders (old cylinder was leaking), all fluids changed. Motor: Recent work includes heads, valves, cam, rotor, distributor, plugs and wires. 454 runs smooth and has plenty pull. Truck runs exceptional and shifts nice, no disappointments here. Everything works on the truck including tach, dual tanks, trailer brake controller, radio, and all the lights. This type of older body style is getting harder and harder to find. Big Block is original along with the throttle body fuel injection. (NOTE: odometer reads 24xxx, but I have owned it long enough to know it is 124,xxx). Truck is located in Las Cruces NM about 40 Miles North of El Paso Texas. I-10 and I-25 intersect in Las Cruces if that help. No Warranty and Truck is sold as is. I am selling this 68 camaro that i have had the following done to it: First off i found this car in tuscon arizona where i bought it from the second owner which had not been used for 10 yrs. Motor was still running when i bought it, but was really running rough. I started by pulling the engine and tranny and having them rebuilt, tranny was good they went through it and freshened it up . Motor had never been opened up so i had it built 30 over and used new intake manifold and new carb . I do have the original intake ,carb, distributor and valve covers. I put new ones on the fresh built engine. I then sent the car to the body shop where they completely dis assembled the car and stript paint down to metal. The floors on this car are very clean with no rust or any type of metal coating on them, very nice underside . All fenders and quarter panels are solid with no rust , hood is new . This is the list of new parts that i bought for car: both bumpers,all front grill,all side marker lights,rear light harness,engine harness,front light harness,entire interior seats front and back, carpet, rear view mirror,head liner, sun visors and hardware,has original steering wheel and gauges,added temp and oil gauge and tach gauge,all trim metal is new,front windshield and door glass is new,new gas tank and lines . rear end was good so we cleaned it up and put new oil, the front end has all new control arm bushings and i went with the QA1 coil over shocks ,i also put new disc brakes with a new master and booster, new cylinders and pads for the rear, new alternator,new hooker headers and battery. I think i covered everything on this car i might of mist something but almost everything on this car is new , not to mention original engine, tranny and rear end. call if i did not mention something , this camaro is being sold as is and shipping is buyers responsibility 575-649-7187
