This is a 1965 corvette coupe restomod that was completed in 2008. I purchased this car in 2005 as a straight unmolested rust free car that was missing its original drivetrain. After much research, I purchased an aftermarket frame from Street Shop Inc . Although there are several good frame packages on the market, I chose this one because they narrow the rear to allow the use of vintage negative offset wheels which makes the car look more stock. The frame uses C4 Corvette suspension pieces and a Dana 44 rear. Coil-over shocks are used all around. A Tremec 600 5 speed and an all aluminum 427ci gen 1 small block power the car. The engine was professionally built using a Motown lite block, AFR aluminum heads, stroker forged crank and rods and comp cams hydraulic roller camshaft. F.A.S.T self learning fuel injection fuels the engine The engine dynoed out at over 550 hp. The body was completely stripped and painted 1963 corvette sebring silver urethane base coat/clear coat. All of the chrome was replated and looks excellent. Classic Auto Air aftermarket air conditioning was added and blows extremely cold. Power rack and pinion steering and power brakes make the car a dream to drive. The interior has a set of late model Z06 seats with power adjustable drivers side. The gauge cluster was completely redone by D & M Restoration. interior was dynamatted before reassembly. An aftermarket tilt steering column and teak wheel are also present. There is a custom autosound radio with ipod hookup in the dash. I am a long time car collector/hobbiest and take great pleasure in the restoration of my cars. Father time is creeping up on me and I am now thinning out my collection which is the reason for selling this car after ten years of ownership.
